Well, I guess they'd "give away" a copy of the game to you in exchange for $60-85

But what if you already paid for the game? Will you get it for free instead? Or do you still pay $60-85?

I got UTIII for $20 from Gamefly (used) and Orange Box for $15 from Target Clearance. I actually got 6-7 OB's to flip, giveaway, and play....awesome game! (I only really play TF2 and Portal...about 40 min into HL).

I also got OB for $15 at Target and I picked up UTIII for $18 at FYE. They had it for $40 and I got 10% off for having the Backstage Pass. Add $2 for tax and I ended up paying $38. However, FYE had a $20 Debit Card rebate for it making my total $18 after I receive the rebate. FYE actually has some decent prices if you have the Backstage Pass and don't mind doing rebates. Go to www.fyerebates.com and click on "Pre-Submit Your Rebate" for a list of titles that have a rebate available. All of the games will be listed under "P" for PS3.

The problem with the target clearance deals, like OB, is that they're too good... the trade in value (at somewhere like EBGames or Blockbuster's Gamerush) are higher than the clearance price, so you'll get hoarders (even non ebay ones) picking them up.

I just finished Uncharted this morning. It's one of the best games that I've played in a long time. Anyone who hasn't played it yet is missing out on a gem.

Yeah, I love that game. So much so that I'm almost through my 7th playthrough.

How long does it take to finish approximately? I have the game but I cannot tear myself away from MLB 08 and GTAIV.

Dammit.

I finished it in 11 hours, but I'm not a hardcore gamer. Also, I didn't try to find all the stuff hidden in the game.

The game is kinda easy, but pretty enjoyable. It certainly is my favorite PS3 game.

^ Same. I spent about 11-12 hours on it as well. It took me a while to figure out the shooting/aiming in the beginning so I spent more time there than I'm sure most typical players would.

I just got a PS3 about 3 weeks ago and I just got around looking through the Playstation store.

How often are the games updated? Specifically PS1 games.. any chance we'll see FFVII or Metal Gear Solid on there anytime... ever?

They release about two or three PS1 games a year.

I can say that given S-E's track history, you're not likely to see any FF game on the download service anytime soon. More likely to see it revisited on the DS or PSP or PS3 remake and/or compilation than offered there.

Is Star Ocean on the playstation store? I've heard good things about the game but it costs a ton of money on Ebay and Amazon

Star Ocean has some PSP remakes coming, so I doubt they'll show up on the download circuit.

MGS1 is in the Japanese PSN store, but no word about here yet. Here's the list of PSN games rated by the ESRB that aren't in the store yet (US only, stolen from GAF ):

-Blood Omen: Legacy of Kain
-Castlevania Chronicles
-Pandemonium
-Rayman
-Street Fighter Alpha
-Suikoden
-Super Buster Brothers Collection
-Wipeout XL

Suikoden looks the most promising for me. I wish they'd release Suikoden II as well, so I don't have to pay a king's ransom on ebay when I finally want to play them.
