Why more buttons on the PS3 stick? Did they not map the Xbox 360 bumpers?

Anyway, this is butt hurt:
Hori recently opened preorders for the exclusive Real Arcade Pro EX joystick which will only be sold on Horistore.com. We're going to get them for ourselves and for anyone who might want one too.
There is a downside however. We have to pay retail for them. We also have to pay tax and shipping costs within Japan. Then we have to pay the piper to ship the dimension weight + heavy joysticks all the way from Japan to New York City. Are you cringing at the cost of procurement yet? We are. But it has to be done. We must have our Hori RAP EX. Preorders are welcome to ship on or around July 10, 2008 at US$218.90 each.

That would be especially awesome if it was a game where you just had to time your presses of the colors.... because then you could play it with a DDR pad.

I'd jump on the stick asap if the backwards compatibility of Marvel Vs. Capcom 2 wasn't so fucked up. That's why I still use my Dreamcast arcade stick all the time - that thing is still the tits.

I'd take the PS3 stick and art if it was the xbox version. I'm not interested in fake boobies all over my arcade stick. *sigh*
Still on the lookout for a deal on an arcade stick for the 360.

I said that MS has to be crazy to charge 800 points for Frogger 2. Well I played the demo and I stand corrected-- they'd be crazy to charge 400 points. The game totally sucks and is nowhere near as much fun as the original; and the original wasn't that much fun. Whoever oversees the Arcade should be embarassed by this game, it's the worst since Shrek & Roll. I mean since Bliss Island. I mean Rocky & Bullwinkle. Ok, there are a lot of very bad XBLA games and this is one of them.

Yeah, I gave Frogger 2 a shot for some reason and it was unbelievably bad. The cutscenes (!) have to be seen to be believed.
Commandos 3 on the other hand, was pretty awesome. Unfortunately, I got some new games in the mail today so I didn't buy it, but it's on my list.

Commando 3 is incredibly easy. First go I beat the suicide mission difficulty (hardest) all by myself. Stepped it down a notch for black ops and got half-way through the last level
I also played through on easy so I could take my time and find all the secrets and POWs. I think the only difference between the difficulty levels is how many lives you get. The amount and toughness of enemies seemed constant.
I only have 3 achievements left to get and 2 of them are multiplayer. 2 other people up for a run through black ops tonight?

Funny, Commando 3 is getting killed in the reviews but posters here and at CAG really seem to like it. The demo was pretty fun, but not the most original game I've ever seen for sure. If I hadn't just got Assault Heroes 2, I'd be getting this. As of now though it's on the back burner.
I changed my mind recently and got Aces of the Galaxy. I really like it. I haven't beaten it on easy yet, but I'm enjoying trying. After playing it a bit, I think it would be a mistake to give continues or extra lives. It's a single play-through sort of game. It's fast, twitchy fun and it's really no hardship to try and start all over again. In addition, your ship can take plenty of damage, get repaired mid-level and self fixes between levels. It's not some sort of insanely hard one-hit-and-you're-dead sort of game (cough, Alien Hominid, cough). It looks great (not great for an XBLA game, just great) and it's a game I can see myself firing up again and again to get a higher score or to try and survive for an elusive achievement. Really, isn't that all you can ask from an XBLA game?
Saw the trailer for Pirates Vs Ninja Dodgeball. That's a weird game. I can only imagine playing it on Live against others. I have no idea what a single player game might even be like.
