I'm currently going through Blue Dragon as well, so it's not like Rock Band is the only game I play. It just seems that way.
Did you get one of those Alien Hominid ones? Post a pic for the 'haters.'
Yes, I have three trophies and am in the Alien Hominid "Hall of Fame". You can go here and scroll down to the bottom to find my HOF entry, if you don't believe me.

I know you're just playing, but I'll post pics either tonight or tomorrow, just for the hell of it.

Good News!
Update: Microsoft has informed Shacknews that the reported $22.50 price point for Castle Crashers and $15 Braid price, believed to stem from a now-removed Microsoft Japan listing, are incorrect for both domestic and international markets.
The company further noted that it will officially announce price points for those titles on the Monday preceding Braid and Castle Crashers' respective release dates, or August 4 and 25.

I thought that price points in MSP could be consistent across different regions since the cost of MSP will vary from region to region. In other words, you set a constant price of 800 MSP for an item, but the cost of those 800 points will be different in US dollars than it will in Japanese yen.

I thought the points were universal but it was the cost of the points that vary. That is how I understood the implementation of points over dollars anyway. That way there is one universal price for a game around the globe. It's just what you pay for the points that differs.

I'm loving Geometry Wars 2, it's an eye orgasm and the new modes are great fun.
Plus getting a 500x multiplier that doesn't go away when you die makes me happy-ish. (Even though that just means higher scores across the board and the difficulty on high score remains exactly the same.)

Here's something from Behemoth:
That's a nice way to say "It isn't 1800 points (yet) and when you aren't happy with the final price, it's Microsoft's fault - we tried to give it to you for free!"
Earlier today a story broke about the Japanese Xbox site reporting that Castle Crashers was slated for release at 1800 Microsoft Points. Pricing for this game has not been determined yet. Both The Behemoth and Microsoft are still working together to figure out a reasonable price point. (not 1800 points)
One thing that we would like to point out is that much like a retail store Microsoft is the distributor for all Arcade titles, and therefore sets the final price. The developer can consult on this, but ultimately, pricing is at the discretion of the distributor (Microsoft).

In a year full of sequels, I have to say Geometry Wars 2 has been the most surprising/satisfying, largely because I knew nothing about it going in (and it was only $10). The new modes are fantastic and while I'm not generally competitive in terms of gaming, having your nearest "foe"'s score shown in the upper right hand corner makes it that much harder to put the controller down.
I can't get over Pixy's score though... well over 50,000,000 on Sequence

Re: Castle Crashers - 1800 points is just a bizarre price point. If anything, 1600 points would make more sense. I'll cross my fingers and hope for 1200.
Re: Geometry Wars 2 - as someone who thought that Geometry Wars 1 was good but way overrated, I have to say that the sequel fixes everything I didn't like about the first one. Collecting geoms adds more depth and strategy, having multiple modes (which unlock as you play the modes you already have) makes it feel much more like a full game, and the reduced penalty for dying makes it more fun for players like me who will never top the leaderboards. Color me impressed.

Anybody try out any multiplayer yet? I thought I saw an option for that on the menu.

Multiplayer is offline only (weird right?), I can't imagine it being hugely playable with more than 2 people due to how much happens, but will give it a shot this weekend.

I'm betting Castle Crashers will be 1600pts...and it won't phase me one single bit. I banked some serious points when the Target deal was going on, in prep for future DLC and Arcade...And I've got no problem supporting smaller studios on unique, labor-of-love type games.
It's going to be a fun game, and it looks fantastic. Almost reminds me of Guardian Heroes in a way...
