Broken Sword: The Shadow of the Templars - Director's Cut
Broken Sword: The Shadow of the Templars - Director's Cut is the fifth title in the Broken Sword series, a remake of the original Broken Sword, and was released on the Nintendo DS and Wii in March 2009.[1]
The game includes extra story elements and settings dealing with Nico and her investigation of a murder and the truth about her father. It also features hand-drawn illustrations and animations by artist Dave Gibbons.
The game uses the Wii Remote and DS stylus respectively to deliver both point-and-click styles and new puzzle-solving elements specific to each platform.

If anyone here enjoyed the old point and click graphic adventures (Sierra's various "Quest" series, Monkey Island, Maniac Mansion, etc.), check out Broken Sword. It's getting zero advertising, but it's a solid adventure game. It's not quite on the level of the classics, but it scratches that point and click itch and works well with the DS's touch-based interface.

I just have to share this pic of my daughter from last month (she's 3)...

... I just have to laugh at moments like this.

Wow...an entire forum of mostly wise individuals. Never thought I would see the day.
Anyone know if the wi-fi being on all the time on the new DSi affects the battery or not? I know it will affect the battery if you are actually online but what if you just have it turned on but are playing a game without using it?
The reason I ask if because I have read that if you are not using the wi-fi capabilities of the PSP, you need to have the WLAN switch in the off position because having it in the on position uses more battery even when not online.
I looked in the DSi manual and it only mentions battery usage when actually using it online.

That is awesome. I spend all my time now trying to find out where my 5 year old daughter is with my DSi and what on earth she is taking pictures of now. Usually 30 pictures of the same doll.

That pic is awesome
Got the DSi covered. For screen protectors, how do you get a hair and dust out of the sticky side? I had a bubble and when I lifted it to get it out, now I have dust and a hair
Doesn't want to unstick. Grr.
Downloading the update, and about to get my browser and 1k points.

Anyone check out Touch Mechanic? It's like Trauma Center for cars.
It's actually not too bad...

Just make sure you use a long enough piece so it is easy to pull off the back of the screen.

However, the same is not true for the Kindle. Man, turning off the wireless connection makes a world difference. I don't have to charge the Kindle for two weeks (i read 2-3 hours a day).

The DSi is supposed to have slightly less battery life than the DS Lite.
I haven't noticed myself, to be honest.

Little Red Riding Hood's Zombie BBQ is $10 "New" at Gamestop. I remember being interested in this pre-release and may stop by on the way home for it.
Anybody have any first-hand experience with it?

I'm picking a copy up for my zombie obsessed girl as a present for finishing her next half-marathon (next weekend, yay). Of course, I better get to play it too (is there more than one save slot?).

Just pull up one side while keeping one end still on the screen. Apply the scotch tape to the dirty area and then lay the protector back down. No big deal and just like new.

For screen protectors (and changing face plates on GB Micros) you should wash your hands first and start a hot bath with the door closed to steam up the room. This will kill any chance of dust getting anywhere and you'll have a nice, relaxing bath to hop into after successful application of the protector or face plate.
