Can I say after three months of getting OXM with the disc that the disc is completely 100% worthless. I understand there was a premium theme four issues ago, but since then, all we've gotten is old, readily-available demos (mostly XBLA too -- Gee, can I really try Alien Breed a mere six weeks after it came out? Thanks!) and a few worthless gamerpics that nobody uses since avatars anyway. What a total waste of time and disc space.

 I like the couple premium themes they have had. I also like having gamerpics that are slightly less often seen.

Now it would be cool if they had avatar clothing...

That's not a bad idea... guess I hadn't thought of doing that.

But it seems huge according to these specs:

http://www.amazon.com/Xbox-360-HD-DV.../dp/B000JHO4L0

And seems it needs external power... I've seen some slimline USB powered drives for fairly cheap.

Actually, that's a pretty good deal right now. My subscription's just about to run out, and the best price I could find was $24.

But would you say it's the "perfect" accessory?

If I was trying to sell it, well... yes :D

I was a subscriber in the old Xbox days and the disc was sometimes good at that times. I may still have some discs laying around here.

It was good back then because you couldn't get game demos otherwise. Now it's pretty worthless. They should include more Premium themes, maybe some game DLC or at very least, advance access to some demos so you don't feel ripped off.
Though at $12.50 for a year, even a couple of themes during the year makes this a pretty good deal.

Agree. They have to include something that you can't get anywhere else. I guess it's really hard to do that now.

About a year ago the disc contain a DLC map pack for Rainbow Six (Vegas iirc). That was neat because i think it cost 15$ to buy but was free on the OXM disc. More things like that would be cool.

I disagree that it is worthless for me since it causes me to try demos I normally wouldn't take the time and trouble to download. But I do agree they should include more unique gamer pix and at least one premium theme a disc.

I don't need to transport the external drive much since it sits on a desk, plugging in the drive to a netbook as needed.

Some pretty decent PS3 prices right now:

Fallout 3 (not GOTY) - 17.99
Red Faction - 19.99
IL-2 Sturmovic - 19.99

Anyone get their $10 Bioshock 2 credit yet? Usually I got it right away with Amazon, but nothing yet.

Mine shipped on the 8th and I got the credit yesterday or the day before.

No Bioshock 2 credit here, either. Mine shipped on 2/8.

Thanks...I will look into it. Probably show up soon. I know CAG has a list of all the games providing gaming credit. I know Madden 11 has a $20 credit...which is nice, and I'm a glutton for NFL Football.

I had my credit for Bioshock 2 before I had the game, and I got game day release

...and with my Red Dead credit, I don't know, we'll have to see. We'll just have to see.
