Not in my experience. I redeemed the code on a ~$45 purchase, and used the credit for three separate purchases over the next few days. The last purchase used the rest of the credit and charged the remaining $1.xx onto my credit card on file.

So...I don't think it's acting as a one time use, even if it's supposed to....

Not true. I placed two different orders now and still have about $40 remaining.

You can only use the cert one time, but once you do it's on your account until you use the full $100.

Call of Duty IV Modern Warfare GOTY for $25 right now. Not sure how long it'll last.

Left 4 Dead 2 was $44.00 today! Used my $20 cert from COD 2 and got it for $24.00

Pretty decent deal on DJ Hero for the 360.

Right now, the regular edition of DJ Hero is $99... If you buy it, there is an offer for a $40 promotional credit. $59 for the game(factoring in the future $40 you get to spend on something else) is a pretty nice deal.

Just a random observation - I just realized that other than one item, every single item in the Amazon "bestselling" list top ten is something for the Wii. That's pretty wacky.

They're probably Price matching Target. Target has a bunch of games on sale for 44, and looks like Amazon is matching them (Brutal Legend and a few others are also 44 at Amazon and Target right now).

I'm going to hold out and see if the PS3 version drops to $99. Oh, wait, it looks like the $99 is J&R, not Amazon. Not sure if you'll still get the $40 gift card.

Picked up Tales of Vesperia for $15 on the lightning deal.

I could not resist picking up the Tekken 6 joystick bundle for the 360 for $60 even though I already have a copy of Tekken 6.

I might have picked up Tekken, even though I'm not a big fighter fan....dang. Oh well....I forgot I have a $20 Videogame coupon there also. Hmmm....hopefully there will be some more deals soon.

There's a discover card promotion going on, where if you buy $50 worth of eligible products and pay with discover card, you get 10 bucks off. This seems to work for all the preorders I checked (Mass Effect 2, FF XIII, Bioshock 2, etc.) It's also multiple use, though you have to do it in separate transactions.

This works for nearly all videogames... the only one that I checked that didn't have this promo was borderlands. So most of the games that amazon pricematched with Target (like dragon's age, brutal legend, etc.) for 44 are eligible if you get something else that's eliglble that's at least 6 bucks. For whatever reason, Left 4 Dead 2 went back up in price, though.
