This is already at GameStop stores. I'm going to buy my copy from GameStop in about an hour.

Excitebots is effin' awesome. It's essentially ExiteTruck with new skins. Even some of the courses feel recycled. It's baffling that this doesn't have SD music support, like ExciteTruck. I mean the code's already there, why take it out?

If you enjoyed ExciteTruck at all, you will love this game. Plain and simple.

Does ExciteTruck's SD music support still work after the Wii replaced MP3 support with AAC?

Oh man, Klonoa is so great. The remote/nunchuck controls are just perfect, and it's just such a smooth looking game.

This may sound a bit random, but do you post on NeoGAF?

Re: Official Wii thread -Part IX

I really need to know what you think what i said by this:
" I never liked Wii's Endless Ocean (if it's a 8 bit game, it's understandable, but it's not...)"
Is it a slap in the face for Wii's graphic? Or does it implies EO could have been implemented differently?

I was told to refrain to say things like this by L&O... I'm not totally convinced that i'm in the wrong.

Re: Official Wii thread -Part IX

I've tried to explain that... It's the entire "(if it's a 8 bit game, it's understandable, but it's not...)"

WHAT is understandable? You've used a pronoun that you don't define so we're left to assume that you're implying EO's graphics are on-par with an 8 bit system. Since it's a pretty damn good looking Wii game, the natural conclusion is it's a bash.

With that, I'm done with this. I'm sorry if you still don't understand. Luckily that's not my problem.

i disagree Pinatata... it's fairly clear that whatever the msg is, Endless Ocean's graphic is not good. However, the sentence DOES NOT imply EO's graphic is on par with an 8-bit game. And the assumption that 8-bit games are inferior is also wrong. As a matter of fact, calling EO a 8-bit game is a compliment (You ever played the "remake" of classic 8-bit SM Bros 3 on Little Big Planet?). You see, my point is, people think the comment is negative, because they WANT to think that way.

Think about it for a second, EO was never released on a 8-bit system. If it did, it's understandable, it's limited to the 8-bit realm. BUT, it's not... Natural conclusion is a BASH? That's bullshit and you know it.

Aside from bad interpretation, even calling a game with bad graphic, is not a bash. If that's the case, all of the "Resistance 2 looks like crap" comments should be banned.

Pinata, i have no grudge against you, but the general pattern is, you suck up to L&O. If you think my statement is a Wii game or the Wii bash, hell, i can interpret L&O's "refrain" warning as a personal attack.

Again, there's nothing to learn from this, pronoun or not, it's not a bash to anything.

Picture it this way...

L&O could have said "are you bashing the Wii game in the PS3 forum? If you're, please refrain from saying such thing further."

But no, he already made his mind up that it's a bashing statement. The minute you sucked up, i know i have stand up for myself.

I do not suck up to L&O. Why would I do that anyway? Suck off, maybe.

Reality is your words are interpreted by others. I was just trying to be helpful. If you don't like it, you don't have to listen.

That looks awesome, but I bet you anything that while the game is probably ready to go, Nintenod's gonna drag their fucking feet like they've done, and it's not gonna show up for download for another year maybe.

Re: Official Wii thread -Part IX

So, I had a shitload of GC's and RZ certs laying around. I picked up:

Mario Kart Wii
Wii Wheel
Wii Fit (for the lady)

Total out of pocket was $17 in cash. Had $130 some in GC's that I had won and $15 in RZ certs.

Re: Official Wii thread -Part IX

I am now a Wii owner for the 3rd time and I think I have finally figured out how to enjoy this console...

Question....can you play Super Paper Mario purely as a platformer or are the RPG elements impossible to ignore? If anyone went through this, was it good?

Re: Official Wii thread -Part IX

Super Paper Mario is definitely more platformer or adventure game than RPG. I loved it. It's certainly been one of my favorite games on the console. I honestly don't ever remember it feeling like I was playing an RPG.

Thanks! Just wanted to make sure I could avoid that aspect.

Re: Official Wii thread -Part IX

IMO, it was so far removed from the normal Mario RPG style, I didn't enjoy nearly as much as I should have.

That is what the reviews I read have stated...much different than the first two...of course I prefer the platform style gaming.
