Almost verbatim Jason Priestly in Tomstone although he cried like a little girl afterwards and ran away.

Ok because of the Microsoft retail rewards zone thing I can get these 360 games for $9 a piece and was wondering if there is any reason I shouldn't shell out the $9 for them (there are some that I will get that I am sure about)
Blue Dragon
Kingdom Under Fire:Circle of Doom
Mass Effect
Vampire Rain

I would say Mass Effect is the top of that list, especially if you liked KOTOR or Jade Empire.

Blue Dragon is available at near that price at Target on clearance, but to me it's worth 9 bucks...

I've heard nothing but bad things about Vampire Rain and, to a lesser extent, KUF:COD.

Well its not really a choice I can get all of them for 9 but I won't waste my money on those two if they are bad I'd rather get an extra copy of something I can sell. I figured Mass Effect, and Blue Dragon were worth it

I think Mass Effect is definitely worth it.

I agree with the previous poster.

Mass Effect is a great value at that price.

Blue Dragon would also be good - i would love to find it at a clearance price near that.

Vampire Rain has gotten horrific reviews.

Kingdom Under Fire i actually played and was not a fan at all. I couldn't even play it for the achievements.

You can only get 1 copy per game on the site (of course you can get 1 copy of a game from the site that you already have, so I guess that's a way to "get an extra copy"). Also technically by the rules of the site, you're not allowed to sell the merchandise that you get. I'm not saying it can't be done, but I would not post here that you intend to do it.

From the site: "Rewards are strictly for personal use only... Feel free to give your Rewards away to friends and family, but you may not sell any Rewards or return a Reward for resale at retail with the intent to receive a cash equivalent, store credit or alternative product. Reselling or exchanging Rewards at retail or other outlets for the express intent to receive financial compensation or a cash equivalent is a violation of these Terms of Use and may lead to the immediate termination of your Points account and access to the Site."

No it would be to friends that don't have them already. Heres my question for you since you are familiar with the site whats with the 360 set for $335 is that a refurb or something because that seems a like a decent deal even after my discount I think this would be a better deal for a pro

I love games like Blue Dragon.

Blue Dragon was a chore.

Worth $9, but it's more cutscene than game. 3 discs should make this evident.

Here's mine for Rainbow 6 Vegas 2:

I like co-op games
My friend and I lock and load
But he gives all orders.

I was joking about not knowing it was a quote.

But after realizing you didn't get my joking about it, I did cry like a little girl and ran away to the Book Forum, where nobody would bother me.

Summer in Texas...I play mostly at night and try to keep the room temperature in the mid to low 70's while I'm gaming. My 360 has been pretty solid since purchase (Apr 06) but I guess it's true that they all fail eventually if you use them enough.

What's the best system to buy now? Elite, Pro, or Arcade? I have Dell 2007WPS monitor, but the HIMDI is already hooked to my PC. Which one is best without having to deal with RROD or any shits. I can afford one any of three...

If you're wondering about my current 360, yeah, it's broken - disc player went dead on me and I already broke the warranty tape in order to revive disc that are stuck in tray. One thing I noticed that 360 doesn't have emergency manual eject, so I had to use the screw driver to pry it out. With warranty tape cut and scratches on disc player tray area, I don't want to go through Microsoft's customer service's interrogate me that made me feel like I'm a criminal. I've had 360 since 2nd wave and I felt it's time to get a newer 360 with newer chips and newer cooling system.

Thanks in advance.

If you don't need hard drive space, just go with the Pro version. It has HDMI now. If you get the VGA cables you could use those with you monitor.

I'll see your Blue Dragon and raise you a Lost Odyssey (in terms of cutscenes/story). Holy crap. The story's better (deeper, more mature) in LO than BD though.

I was at Best Buy today and their Elites still had the sticker for the 2 free games (Forza and M:UA). I don't know if the games are labeled "not for resale", and that means they are older units, but if I were buying today, I'd probably get that Elite--100 bucks more for 100 GB HD space and two games (which granted probably aren't full price anymore but still).

I don't think its a refurb from what I've heard from other folks. Not 100 %, as I did not get my 360 from the site, as I picked up one at launch.

My 360 (manufactured 11/05) is starting to go out. I'm gonna hold out for the Jasper model (65nm gpu, should run cooler than the current models) that's rumored to be coming in August.
