I think that's too much. Can they do that? Is that part of the TOS?
Is the gamerscore going to count? to be used for something special? That's the only way I'd approve a change like that.
My gamerscore is only ~7K, being there since 12/06 I think that's a low GS, so I really don't care, but I think that's too much from Microsoft.

Each tick is a set score, so while it looks like your score in increasing with each tap of the keys or drums, it is - but not how you think. It's not a sum of all button presses, but a flag on where in the timeline you last hit the note. The closer your final button press is to the end, the higher your score is.

Everything I've experienced tells me that more notes played (not just last) = higher score and that I can play more notes on the solo buttons without strumming than on the regular fret with strumming.
