Finally watched my first one of these, the above Singularity. Hilarious! Are they all this good (or bad depending on your opinion)?

They're all very similar in tone and style. It's his shtick.

Easy target to skewer. He does an admirable job, though.

That was one of the better ones I have watched in a while.

I knew I had something to do on Wednesdays. Completely forgot about ZP. The upside is I have 2 months to catch up on.

His rant at the end about online multi-player gaming is spot-fucking-on.

As a PC gamer, I was hoping he'd rip into those two a little more than he did, since they both were announced as coming out on the PC, and then later recanted.

Wow, it's clear Yahtzee is insane.

I guess one man's "silent wilderness" is another man's "barren wasteland to pad out the gaming."

So in order for us to find a game Yatzee gushes over without qualifications, all we had to do was look for a quiet, arty PS2 game that's five years old?

Well, that or Portal.

I never got in to Shadow of the Colossus. I loved ICO, but played the first 2 monsters in Shadow and gave up. I dunno, I'll try it again with the ICO/Shadow HD PS3 game coming out.

I don't think he's played SotC recently. I have. It has not aged well. At all. I found it practically unplayable.

Split/Second

This is a game I really liked, but his scathing review is still spot-on and tremendously funny.

Me neither. That is the first one of his that I turned off part way through them.

The "Viewer's Choice" means this one was a rerun. It was much funnier when it came out in 2009 a week or so after they announced that DNF was officially dead.

But word is that Gearbox (Borderlands) is taking over the Duke Nukem Forever development, using a lot of the already created assets, so it's by no means "dead".

I don't believe you.

But DNF was announced as officially canceled at the time this "review" was made.
