The game isn't compatible with Windows 7 64-bit by default, apparently if you update the copy protection ( http://www.tagesprotection.com/main.htm ) drivers you can get it running, but I'm not positive on that.

i played it on win7 64-bits with the original version (without the copy protection patch)

After reading up on the steam forums, it appears that steam already updated the game to patch 1.5. So no need to install the patch.

Never played this game or even heard of it before a friend had told me about the sequel. Thinking about getting both from Steam and doing a long marathon session.
