What I hate is the 160 point price. I love "Hard to Handle" but to keep paying 2 bucks for one song...that is going to add up quick if you think about it. For the person who eventually downloads everything...wonder what this game's final cost will be (especially if you add in all the other accessories that was mentioned a page or two ago).

The team that puts up PS3 downloadable content was out last week. They post content on Thursday evenings, so it'll be another day or two. Kind of a drag that Sony lags behind MS in posting downloadable content.

Wow...those DLC songs are shit. I'll probably get Hard to Handle, but Blink and The Killers would have been SO much better.

DLC post is semi-updated with two vids, but no tiers yet. Gimme Three Steps looks really fun on Guitar, and the Rush song looks kinda meh like Dave was saying. However, Limelight sounds like it's going to be awesome on drums. I haven't seen a vid of Hard to Handle yet, but I'll put it up there as soon as I see it, as well as tiers (either when I buy them or I see them elsewhere).

I can handle the 160 point price tag as long as I'm getting my MS Points for at least 25% off or so. But it would be nice if the covers were a little cheaper - especially on songs by bands with very unique lead singers, Black Crowes and Rush being 2 of them.

I'll wait for the YouTube vids of those 2, but I'll grab Gimme Three Steps sight unseen (I've been hoping for more Skynyrd).

Guitar vids of Gimme Three Steps -

and Limelight -
Spoiler:

I still don't really like the Rush cover singer, but the guitar sounds pretty good on it, so I'll probably get it. Can't have too many quality classic rock songs, IMO.

Still looking for a Hard to Handle video.

EDIT: Screw you Shagrath!

And for drums:

Skynyrd is really easy (1st tier)

Limelight is super fun, but have your pedal foot ready...

Not a fan of it or Rush, personally.

I hope they continue to mix "present-day" music with classics.

Got all three today. I'm a DLC junkie. Loved the Skynyrd song, but wasn't impressed with Rush-Limelight. All together, I was disappointed in the overall releases for the week.

Wow... Blink 182 over Rush?

How can one of the greatest drummers of all time be 'blah?' They are the perfect band for Rock Band DLC.

The singer on the DLC isn't the greatest, but the song itself is an excellent rendition.

Is that even the same vocalist who did the cover for Tom Sawyer? From the youtube video I don't think it sounds anything like him (or Geddy Lee).

Didn't skank girl (Other thread) say she liked Blink 182 as well and referred to them as "hardcore"... I'm glad to see you are in such esteemed company.

I know Travis Barker is young, but he's more talented than most:

The DLC reactions each week are almost as entertaining as the actual content. Personally, I think this might be my favorite week (if two weren't covers). Then again, I'd have been happy to get anything, since I'm a hopeless addict.

I think there's a good mixture of new and old. I'd be down for Green Day, definitely...but as I said earlier, I consider Blink to be probably the worst band in the past 15 years, so...I'm fine without them.

Of the new school drummers.. Travis is the shit. Just watch his last performance on Letterman. The guy performed with one hand in a cast.. as he did on tour with +44. He did the same when he broke a foot. He's fucking amazing. He's in the new breed.. along with Josh Freese.

I've loved blink for about 15yrs, and yes I'm serious about Travis. I'm fine with the old stuff, but it's rapidly outnumbering the new stuff. I'd like a pack of 10 songs from the 90's and a pack of 10 songs from the 00's to even it out
