So I am doing some exploring and have a question. If you are checking out a planet, and you get a distress call from there, do you have to answer it right away? If you don't, does it disappear? I am positive that I got a call for Circe on Athens, but I was going through them so fast, I accidentally zoomed out right away. Now it is not there anymore. What gives?

Also, is there a list posted somewhere that lists all of the planets that contain quests?

GameSpot has a decent Game Guide, but I'd wait till tomorrow to look. The internet community is trying to form a black out for today for the CNET sites over the whole reviewer getting fired deal.

Thanks for the info.

I had a quick look but couldn't really find anything. I would assume that the mission should still be there, but some reason, I can't find it anymore. I am sure that it said it picked up some kind of call, but now I can't find it.

Also, I ended up doing a mission that I didn't have. When I looked that up, it says that you should still have it completed under your missions, but it doesn't show up. Do I have to go back and get the mission before it shows up, even though it is already completed?

The missions will stay in your log and are available even if you don't do them right away. I started by going to all the plants get the missions on my log and now I'm going through them completing everything.

DAMN I hate the Mako. I hate mountains, I hate that the camera spends 80% of the time under the Mako, and I HATE exploring most of a planet only to get a damn disc unreadable freeze error!

I hated the Mako at first, too. But it grows on you, and is fun to drive around.

It never froze up for me...

While the game's not beyond reproach, you shouldn't blame problems with your 360 on the game.

I have a quick question, when you are on the Citadel you come across a fan that wants an autograph. I gave him the autograph, but in my journal it says I should talk to him. Problem is I can't find him anywhere. Does anyone know what to do here?

Why is there always, always, someone who says things like this. Yes, you are so right sir! I am the ONLY person on Earth having Mass Effect freeze up on me, and it is because of my crappy 360.

A quick Google of Mass Effect freeze error pulls up numerous pages....

Wouldn't it stand to reason that if someone never had the game freeze up on them (regardless of how my people it did freeze on) then it's not the game, but the system? Am I the only one who sees the logic in this? And FYI, bro, you're not the only person with a "crappy" 360 since it seems that most of them eventually brick.

Presidium is the name for the main section of the Citadel. It's where area where the embassy and financial district is. If you go to one of the quick travel spots in the Citadel, all the areas are either in Presidium or the Ward.

No, because I had disk read errors on my initial copies of NCAA 2007 and 2008, returned each, and both times the second game I got never had a problem. So there are bad batches of disks out there (or maybe some disks that have more info read from it constantly and are more susceptible to errors)

I've had no problems with the Mako, though I did get stuck in a vertical position between a mountain and a structure and couldn't get out, so I had to restart. That zoom on the turret is a life saver.

The Mako can definitely be a pain in the ass, but it does a great job of getting around for the most part.

I never ever got stuck in the Mako using those rocket boosters when I needed to get out of an awkward spot.

I ended up loving the Mako, since it can climb practically any mountain with a little bit of effort.

Yeah, it was a special case where even the boosters wouldn't get me out... I think I just fell into this narrow slot that just fit the mako, and I couldn't do anything.

I am amazed at the amount of thought that went into this game, as far as back story and details. Unfortunately, 99% of gamers will probably skip over most of it. I know that I just look at planets to see if I can survey or land on them, and don't even read the text most of the time.

I also had no idea there were surveyable asteroids in the asteroid belts...

I just finished it, but rushed thru to simply beat the game. Going to go thru it again with the same character, work on achievements and just take my time and take in the game. I never once explored a planet that wasn't part of the storyline, done no side missions and didn't read any of the codex's, so I figure it'll still be fresh for me the second time around.

Just finished the game. I ended up at Level 47, just short of Level 48 I think. How can I see my end stats? Do I just load career? I have a late save that I want to play through again:

Spoiler:
I have a save just before the first Saren fight that I want to play through again, since I talked him into shooting himself in the head the first time around. I want to see if I kill him would it give me enough points to reach level 48

Does Tali open up extra missions for you when you talk to her? I had Garroth give me another mission, and my friend told me that wrex does as well. At this point in the game I can't go back to the citadel, i'm about to go on the final mission. First I'm going through the entire galaxy making sure I didn't miss anything.

Has anyone reached level 60?

Wrex actually has two missions, kind of. Just make sure you finish his armor mission and all the conversations before going to Noveria. And take him with you on Noveria.

Tali just gives you the speech about finding something to take back with her to her homeworld. She has no effing clue where to look, but the mission will spawn for you in a new system. It's pretty boring stuff.

I forgot to ask this question, I have this mission that is called UNC: Missing Survey Team. I finished the mission, freed the guy that was on the ship, I even talked to the Admiral afterwards and he told me good job. The problem is, this mission is still on my mission logs shows as not complete. Is this a glitch in the game? I stumbled upon the ship again last night, and the hostage is still standing in the ship.

I don't think that you are talking about the same mission. The missing survey mission is not what you are describing above. The outcome is different.

As for glitches, I almost gave up on it yesterday, since I was stuck at a mining place. I couldn't move away from it. It was brutal. I didn't think that I had a recent save, but it turned out that there was an automatic save when I landed on the planet, so I didn't lose too much time (probably 15 or 20 minutes). It was frustrating as hell though.
