so im going to get a game tomorrow and I can't decide which i want. The three i want right now are Zelda, Resident Evil 4 and No more heroes. I will probably only be able to get one unless i can find used ones (im going to gamestop) I really want a good story game like zelda or RE: 4. Any help on the decision?

Not sure if you have one locally or not, but if you do, call Fred Meyer everyday around 10:00am. Unlike most stores, they do not stockpile them for a Sunday ad. They will get in a handful at a time and sell them out that day.

I used www.itrackr.com to get one for a relative. Had it within a week. It even sends an SMS message to your cell if you want. Got a text at night that a local Gamestop had them. I was there when they opened and walked out 5 minutes later with one.

Both Zelda and RE4 are incredible games. And that is definitely an understatement. The story on both are quite involving although I think Zelda's is a bit better. You will be happy with either. RE4 is a bit cheaper at $30 since it sounds like you are trying to save money.

You'll be fine - each Zelda game is pretty much a stand-alone story. Most Zelda games actually are quite independent of each other and you may go mad trying to link them chronologically.

Be warned with Zelda, it's a masterpiece that starts off REALLY slow. That's good in a way to get you acclimated to the controls but the pacing could have been a little quicker. Hope you like RE4 as well, another awesome game...

i don't mind the slow start if its letting me get acclimated with the control system. I almost prefer it in some games.

Hmmm. I think I'll be trying to pickup GH3 for the wife (maybe a nice V-day surprise), but I wonder how many of them they'll have in stock. I probably won't be able to slip out of the house until Sunday late afternoon.

How is the track record for TRU having Wiis in their ad? Is it pretty safe to assume they'll have some when they open on Sunday?

Your best bet is to call your local store and see how they are doing it. I've been in TRU many a Sunday morning at opening and people show up for Wii's but don't get one because vouchers were handed out earlier that morning.

heck ya. Judging by that article, it sounds like Nintendo is wising up to the fact that Wii owners are begging for more wifi games. Now if only whoever makes Bomberman can get a hint...

IGN.com has a preview for the game 'Band Mashups'.

http://wii.ign.com/articles/850/850132p1.html

The premise of the game sounds really fun. Check out the video featuring a Latin/Mariachi version of Cyprus Hill's 'Insane in the Brain'.

This just leapfrogged SSB:B as my most anticipated game. This is the kind of innovative use of the Wiimote for which we've been waiting.

Maybe I'm missing something, but it really looks like Frequency/Amplitude for kids.... Visual styling aside, I guess I don't really get how you play is all.

I wish Harmonix would come out with another entry from that franchise, could do cool things with the wii-mote.

Those games were phenomenal. My friend borrowed my copy of Frequency and lost it, so I just recently picked it up again. I actually thought Frequency was the better of the two, even though Amplitude had a superior soundtrack.
