Add me also (gamertag in my sig). I am going for 1000/1000 but I doubt that. Those meta game points are a total bitch to get. Some of the multiplayer ones are going to be tough also.

What is split screen like on a widescreen TV. I tried it for a couple seconds but it shrinks the screen and has bars on the side. Any way to change that in settings?

Went through Legendary solo already but I'd be up for helping if you need another.
I know where the skulls are (have them all) and can act as a checkpoint saver/armor
buster if you want to go for the points in the meta games (can also turn on skulls for
higher point values). Tag is SPECIALporpoise and I play after 10/10:30pm eastern.

I don't get why they did that. Was it so hard for them to fill out the screen?

If they filled the screen during splitscreen (ie; no bars on the side) it would
destroy the game's aspect ratio. They'd have to either crop the top/bottom
or stretch it.

Question on coop online campaign:

My nephew got this for Xmas. We want to play through the campaign on Legendary via Live! We completed the first Chapter last night and cannot play through the entire campaign in one sitting. With regards to getting the Legendary achievement, is there anything we should be doing or not do in order to get it? I think I read that you can do the Chapters out of order and still get the achievement. So, it doesn't matter if one of us loads a different chapter in the campaign menu option as long as at some point we complete all of them? I guess my thinking is that we have to keep the current save loaded?

Thanks

I finished roughly 2/3rds solo and 1/3rd co-op and still got the achievement. I played them out of order as well, so that is a non-factor. This was last week as a matter of fact.

Here was my path (having beat it on Normal already):

Levels 1-5: beat on co-op
Levels 1-3: beat solo
Levels 6-10: beat solo

So that leaves me with levels 4-6 to finish solo.

Thanks Michael C!

One more question, can we both get the achievements if we play coop via split screen on the same Xbox? I assume I can also sign in with my gamertag so I get credit?

Thanks

I have no positive answer for that one, but if you are both signed in I don't see why not. Although there are games that don't allow both to get the achievement either way.

You could always run through the game on normal split screen to get that achievement to find out.

Yeah, I think the driver was still trying to steer the warthog out of the way. 4 wheel drive.

That is pretty sweet that the gravity hammer can push a hog back like that. I had no idea.

No way. I am so glad my wife hates video games. That means I don't have to share my stuff or make time for both of us to play. I can play when I want to and not have to wait on her or buy extra equipment or consoles for her to play.

I might have enjoyed having her play back before the days of Xbox LIVE but now...no thanks.

Bullshit!

I could play so much more if my wife didn't play! We take turns playing because she frustrates me so much I don't want to be on her team, so when I sit there and watch her play, I backseat drive the entire time, lol..."You should've grabbed the rockets, watch out for that guy, Jesus, didn't you see him?"". It's very frustrating, and she's not even horrible at the game.

Also, today is my half day at work, so I get home at noon. She's been playing Bioshock since I got home

Anyone still playing this game? It takes forever to find a game... then most people either quit or betray. The online got horrible fast. I find it interesting, like with Halo 2, there's no attempts by Bungie to fix the major flaws in the game (spawning, quitting, team killing, lag, lack of maps, etc.)

I've been playing Halo at least 3 times a week since Halo 1, but I don't think I can take it anymore.

I agree about this game getting old quick. I played Halo 2 for about a year and a half, at least 3-4 times a week. I played Halo 3 for about a month.

You are playing with the wrong people. I played Halo3 practically all night tonight had great games all night. No quitters and only one real trash talker.

Yeah i play 3 or 4 times a week. There are times when the search is started over and I'm sure if that's related to recent LIVE issues or people backing out or what. But finding games isn't hard.

Also, COD4 stole a huge chunk from Halo 3.

No question. Someone I was playing with last night said that COD4 had more people playing on Live than Halo3 last week. That's a pretty big deal.

I love Halo3 but COD4 is just a better multiplayer game all around. I will continue to juggle both though.

I do think that Halo3 will have more longevity on Live if only because there is will a new COD eventually and multiplayer will likely peter down just like COD 2 & 3 before it.

My gamertag is Lyle Lanley.
Seems about every night I play, I get quitters or team killers. Ranked or not ranked. Pretty lame.... this has been going on for about a month.

I'll play Team Slayer or any game for that matter, and I always end up with a positive spread, often +10 or more, but constantly lose because of horrible teammates and quitters. I'm starting to wonder if the game is intentionally trying to balance the kpd between teams and as a result the system won't match me up with anyoen good. I don't know. Last several nights I've just been going into unranked games with friends and teamkilling and stunting just to have fun - since we pretty much couldn't find a game without quitters/screamers/babies and douchebags anyways.

I have COD, but haven't gotten into it much (too easy to die/kill for me).
