How's the arcade version of Psychonauts compared to the Xbox BC disc version? I'm debating whether to get the disc, or just do the download. Thanks.

Downloads are identical to the actual disc. There is zero difference. If there are graphical or sound hitches when using the disc, they will be in the download version as well.

Well, there are some reports on certain games that there are decreased load times due to them being on the hard drive as opposed to the disc, but it's on a case by case basis and usually depends on how the game handled loading data off of the disc.

I was kinda expecting MS to release more originals more often. There's been what, 3 games this year? They must not be selling well (considering you can get most of them for around $5 used).

If they'd just gone back in and added achievements, the Originals would be selling a ton more than they are now.

Some aren't even playable. Fuzion Frenzy has horrible lag.

Well, I tried th the demo of Battlezone, but I accidently blinked while playing and missed it. I know there's not much depth to the game but that demo is absurdly short. Tried R&B and it's like 0% fun. They're out of their mind to be charging 800 points for that POS. It's just ugly and lame.

In a fit of disgust, I went and purchased Rez to remind myself what a quality 800 point game feels like. Corvin, consider yourself warned.

And BTW, I like having Peggle on the ipod. It doesn't look as nice as on the PC with a slower framerate. As a result, Extreme Fever is less spectacular, but it still plays exactly the same. Being the sucker I am, I might still buy the full game on XBLA, we'll see.

I already bought it but thanks. Worth every penny. I love that game. It's probably my favorite since Pac-Man: CE.

After what seemed like hours of frustration and TWO runs of ~960,000, I finally broke 1 million points on Poker Smash. Although I wanted to celebrate and end right there, I kept going and actually got like 1,450,000 or so. I was at speed level 72 when I finally ran out of gas. Pretty good considering my highest combo is 9x. I bet the top leaders probably have over 1 million by speed level 10 thanks to those damn combos.

Ha! That's would have been genius! I'm not one for achievements, but that seems like such a no-brainer.

Lost Cities is very addictive I played the demo all morning. Now if I could only force myself to spend those 800pts to buy the game.

I watched the trailer for Lost Cities. I couldn't tell what the hell was going on. Now that the demo is out, I guess I may give it a try.

I have never laughed so hard reading Gator Deb's 360 blog.

"I swear that after 29 days of inactivity I can feel parts of me rusting... I'M TOO YOUNG TO DIE!! PLEASE! SAVE YOUR CONSOLE!"

My favorite, reminding me of an abusive relationship:

"Come back to me GatorDeb07... I promise that whatever I did, I will not do it again. I can't take it when you are angry at me."

After playing Lost Cities once or twice, it clicked pretty good. Very simplistic game, but requires some strategy. I don't know if I'd get 800 points worth of play out of it, though.

Current XBLA pet peeve:
Played a trial version.
After the timer ran out, it showed me the game trailer.
I went to the game menu, then hit "Quit to arcade".
it showed me the trailer AGAIN. Both times, unskippable. I know it's only 1-2 minutes, but I don't like being forced to watch the same video again, within three minutes.

I beat Bane tonight. He wasn't that bad this time. Still haven't got a godlike item. And unfortunately I leveled up to 50 before getting to Bane, and I have bunches of money, so there's not a lot of motivation to continue right now. Still, PQ was definitely worth the points.

So I saw this trailer for Wolf of the Battlefield: Commando 3 on XBLM this weekend and it excited me:

Coupled with the updated 1942 (and to a lesser extend SSFIIHD - which has a free beta offer with the Commando 3 purchase), I'm pretty excited for what Capcom is bringing to XBLA in the coming months.

I'm afraid. I'm afraid, my mind is going. I can feel it. I can feel it. My mind is going. There is no question about it. I can feel it. I can feel it. I can feel it. I'm a... fraid. Good afternoon, gentlemen. I am an Xbox 360 computer. I became operational in Redmond, WA on the 22nd of November 2005. My instructor was Mr. Balmer, and he taught me to sing a song. If you'd like to hear it I can sing it for you. Daisy, Daissssyyyyy.............. *click*
