anyone else having problems with SMB3? The screen on the right is messed up on my downloaded copy. I called Nintendo and the rep said that she had taken a lot of calls with the same problem. She said that a tech would call or e-mail me.

I noticed the same thing yesterday. As the screen scrolls to the right, it appears 'glitchy' (for lack of a better term). Not sure which level it was in the first world (4 maybe?) where the screen automatically scrolls and the blocks on the right side of the screen appear green for a split second, and then correct themselves to their normal color. It didn't really affect the game play, but it was distracting. Hopefully there will be some kind of fix to re-download the game.

Nintendo tech called tonight about my problem with SMB3. He said it was my TV. I don't understand since all my other downloaded games play back fine. He said if more people called with the same problem they may investigate it. He was very nice. Hopefully, more people will call and maybe there will be a fix for it. I still think it's the software.

I have heard via a pretty reliable source that Axelay (Pub/Dev by Konami for SNES) is one of the Virtual Console releases slated for Monday.

I hope Axelay will be the Japanese code with the level-select cheat. I loved it, but I could never get past the 4th level. I still have the SNES cart, and now I dont' even have the patience to get past the first level...

Axelay is a great choice. I'm going to pick up every scrolling shooter from the TG16, Genesis, and SNES era. Looking forward to some Genesis shooters like Gaiares and Thunder Force III showing up.

My VC copy definitely has some issues. The screen appears glitchy as the game scrolls to the right. Apparently Nintendo has gotten a lot of calls about the problem, but they haven't done anything to fix it (as of yet.) It certainly doesn't make the game unplayable, but it is annoying.
Another poster said that the Nintendo rep told him it was probably a problem with his TV. I sincerely doubt it would be a TV issue since all of my other VC games are fine. (I have about a dozen or so.)

I played Blue's Journey several years ago at a Fuddruckers quite often. I do remember enjoying it quite a bit, it's sort of like a Wonder Boy/Monster World style game, though I believe not as entrenched in the adventure elements as those tended to be (as it was an arcade game).
