What level are you on Suprmallet? I'm starting 5 as soon as I get home.

I think I just started four.

You guys suck i can't even beat the end boss for level 2.

I'm on Level 6. Man every level is tougher and tougher. I hate having to use nimpo and ki, but it's at the point where I have to use them for every battle.


What weapon do you guys like the most? I have the lunar, dragon sword and claws all maxed out. I like the claws by far the best.

I also have this sickle on a chain which sucks, and duel swords which I'm not very fond of either.

The slower (but more powerful) weapons just don't work for me - I can do a lot of damage when I can connect, but usually before I can even take a swing the enemies get in a lot of hits, so I have to stick to the quicker weapons that don't leave me as open to attacks.

I'm on level 5, damn those wolves are hard as hell. Imo the claw is by far the easiest and most powerful for the more humanoid creatures, all you have to do is spam XXYYYY and YYY and you end up cutting off arms and heads. I personally tend to use the sword more often, it being my only lvl 3 weapon right now. I got the dual swords and haven't gotten the chance to upgrade them to lvl 2 yet (they dont have any good combo strings at lvl 1) (im also a little itchy when it comes to upgrading the claws to lvl 3, i did it once before dying and having them reset to lvl 2 to the point where I just think lvl 2 claws look sicker than lvl 3)

Yes those Wolves are a major pain in the A$$. Just wait until you come across the mermaid demons. Those are deadly. Level 3 claws are awesome. They look sweet too. I need to put some time in with the duel swords, It's just so hard to not use the claws, they make everything so much easier.

Well for those waiting like me the demo finally hit XBL. Now after playing it I have to say the camera is not that bad, I may pick it up.

I went and picked it up found the last copy at BB and got a cool free wall poster.

I just played the demo and the game kicks all kind of ass. So far, it looks way better than Ninja Gaiden Sigma.

Damn this game is hard. Just beat Level 3 after my 360 RROD on me...time for the towel trick...again.

I'm on level 8, this game is sooo hard. Ninjas with rocket launchers that shoot like 10 at a time. You have to fight the cave troll looking guy a 2nd time, but this time he has 2 huge very bad ass metal monsters on his side to help him.

I do have this sweet new weapon though that is like the grim reaper sickle. It's called the scythe I believe.

So you don't start the game with all the weapons maxed out like in the demo? The "upgrade" option at the store makes a lot more sense now.

Nope, 2nd level is 10,000 essence, and 3rd level is 30,000 essence. I still have one more weapon to go. The flavarian flails. I think that is what they are called. I was reading on gamefaqs, and suppodely on the last level you get to upgrade your duel swords to a level 4.

Dammit - so when I bought shit when I had 9800 I was close to getting an upgrade?

What level is everyone playing? I started on Warrior, then got ass kicked 3 times by the 2nd set of ninjas then started over on Acolyte, and made it through chapter 1 before it was time for Catan. Good game! I actually enjoy the ease of this now, and can see myself playing it all the way through!

I'm playing on Warrior, and I'm starting level 8. The 7th level boss was pretty rough.

Since I'm only renting it for a few days, I'm playing on acolyte. On Chapter 3 thus far, and I'm enjoying it, although I will say that I find the camera a huge pain in the ass.

Since i'm a pansy and have shifted my gaming mentality I'm doing it on acolyte I'm having fun, and that's all that matters If by the end I'm improved a lot, I'll likely tackle warrior for the new enemies and shit.

Level 8 is freaking insane (playing on warrior)

I'm playing on Warrior. And ya you were 200 away from upgrading your weapon lol. I only use essence on life of gods and weapons upgrades. Everything else you find enough of laying around.

Ya that was tough. I'm on level 9, the beginning of the level is near impossible, I don't know how I finally made it through. Now I have to figure out how to beat this stupid mini boss.

Maybe i'll restart it. The level wasn't that long.

Now the question - staff or sword...

I upgraded my sword, it doesn't really matter because soon you will get the claws, and they are one of the best weapons in the game. You need to max those out.

I know I say this every day, but this game is sooo freaking hard. I had to regen my health 6 times to beat the level 9 boss. Now on level 10 it's even harder!! Somehow i'm finding a way to get through the game though. Only a few more levels to go! I can't imagine beating this game on the unlockable hell mode or whatever it's called.

Took the staff up to lvl 3 last night, that thing is pretty sweet

Oh - and wtf is Ninja Cinema? Do I want it on?
