Sad.

In Microsoft's pre-TGS conference held in Japan, Mr. Final Fantasy announced that his Unreal-powered tale of turn-based timelessness would be radically altering the meaning of "simultaneous worldwide release" to be more along the lines of "out in Japan on December 6th, then in North America in February 2008." Judging by the release schedule adopted by Mist Walker's most recent RPG, Blue Dragon, a European date for this Odyssey should be found on the same calendar page.

Even the glimmer of hope that a Game of the Year, like Bioshock, is coming is enough to lose a console sale.

If you have access to a BJ's membership, check there. My BJ's had the Live Vision Gold pack for 49.90. Actually they had the exact same item, in two different places, with the same sku number, with two different price tags--49.90 and 69.90. I don't know if they just forgot to take down the old tag, but I was charged 49.90. Might be a little more after tax but you don't have to worry about shipping or creating a GCO-compliant account.

Unless they let you play it horizontally, this game would be useless in widescreen - it was bad enough on a 4:3 TV, but on a 16:9, it would take up less than a quarter of the screen.

You could play it sideways on the DC and NGC versions. That said, hopefully it has some sort of better vertical Widescreen support.

I'm really looking forward to Rez. I never played that, but it seems like an ideal candidate for XBL. Also cool to hear about Exit and Ikaruga. Glad to see XBL is stepping it up.

I wish Sony didn't own Intelligent Cube, as that would be another game that would be perfect for XBL. Maybe it will go to PSN?

Puzzle Quest is still supposed to hit "September 2007", right? There's only 2 Wednesdays left... I can't wait to tackle that again in HD and online.

Considering TH proving ground demo has been released. What is opinion on it vs. skate. for the rest of you? After playing the skate. demo consistently, I found TH to be largely cartoony and unrealistic. skate. will most likely be my only skateboarding purchase this year.

So I'm planning on getting an xbox 360 about the same time that Halo 3 comes out. Does anyone have any idea of promotions or other launch events that might be going on? That is, any good deals?

I'm actually going to get mine at best buy since I have a gift card, I figure I can price match though. I suppose it's too much to ask for a halo 3 xbox bundle, but maybe a price break?

Not likely considering the recent price drop. There is the limited Halo 3 360 that is coming out but it doesn't even come with the game. Just a Premium system that is olive green.

Yea, no way am I getting the halo system, just the premium for me thanks.

I figured they probably wouldn't do too much since the game is already anticipated and you have to have the 360 to get it.

The new Tony Hawk demo up on live is absolutely horrendous.

I couldn't stomache it for five minutes after playing the skate demo so much. Sad, really

Tomb Raider: Legend - Looks like the 360 DLC fiasco is behind us. A retail release is on the schedule for 10/23 and is good for 1000 gamerpoints.

Tomb Raider: Anniversary [Xbox 360]
Release Date: Oct. 23rd
Amazon Pre-Order: $29.99 (free shipping)
