I was thinking the same thing. Come on guys. It's like, "killing is ok, but you have to do it nicely and I don't want to see how ugly murder can be" and "If you want to see graphic kills then you have the mind of a teenager". Whaaaat?

Maybe they'll put in a code so you guys can have water or green blood spew out instead of blood.

I don't think the blood bothers anyone here, but to me, after a certain point, it just becomes silly and excessive.

Think of it this way: If after every battle, the streets flowed with blood, Ryu was up to his ankles in blood, and you could no longer see any of the ground, would you think that was excessive and stupid? Most people over the age of 14 probably would.

It is the same thing here, it is just that people have differing opinions on when it becomes excessive and stupid. Maybe those screenshots are misleading, but it appears that we crossed that point for me. It won't make the gameplay any worse or keep me from buying the game, and it certainly won't bother me or disgust me; I'd just think it was dumb.

I don't see how anyone can level this criticism at a developer who makes every woman in all of their games have boobs the size of Mt. Fiji. Team Ninja appears to be made up of people in a state of arrested development, so those screenshots don't surprise me in the least, and I don't see why people expect any kind of restraint from them, considering the games they've made in the past. And again, it's very similar to what you would see in most Samurai films, which actually makes me like it even more.

Hello, I think I am about to join the dead 360 club! for the past few days, my 360(born in NOV 06) has been locking up about every 10 mins and sometimes, I cant even make it past the start up screen!!! Soooo my ??? is?: should I go ahead and call the 800 # or should I wait to officially see RED! or should I use the web page?( could someone please post it) Man this is suckie,suckie......I was so looking forward to taking a day off and having Halo 3 all to myself....(Tear).....so I guess the next logical ? is: When will XROD play Halo 3!!!!!.....Oh! it just occurred to me, what if it is not a red ring issue?......I got my 360 for XMAS , so it has not been too long?....I remember getting an email that said the normal warranty was extended to 1 year(FEB07) then in May, it was extended to 3yr(but red ring only)...so am I covered or not? your thoughts would be greatly appreciated.....

Yes, that is what I was thinking. Seeing gallons of blood spraying out of a body is just way too comically excessive. It won't stop me from buying the game though.

Gamespot is reporting that Tecmo is not publishing Ninja Gaiden 2 this time. It is being published directly by Microsoft. There goes any hope of the game being ported to another console...

I think with all the Game of the Year buzz, this will be another MS breaks out the checkbook for. I don't see it happening. Even if it does, I would assume it won't launch until late next year. Would anyone care at that point?

If i was running the show at MSoft i wouldn't pay to get this exclusive. Let the company make more money on other consoles next year. I would however be damn sure i paid to get an sequel as a timed exclusive at the very least.

Yeah, I think it is pretty much a given that Bioshock will get sequels. Every big AAA game does. I think it would be cool if they could get the rights to remake System Shock 1 and 2 too.

I was just thinking about what the achievements for Ninja Gaiden 2 will be like. If NG2 retains the difficulty of the previous game, then beating the game on normal mode would be achievement enough for most gamers.
