A lot of previews of Rage have been out lately and have been positive.

Cancelled my pre-order for this and put the money down on Borderlands 2 instead.

You'll be waiting awhile. I'm getting this as it will be awesome and will also get me geared up for Borderlands 2 when it drops sometime in the next 17 months.

Between this and Gears, fall is looking real fun. Don't know where I'll find the time to play these games though.

however, my wife and I just built a house so our funds are limited for video games this fall. We have alot of extras to buy for the house.

Also, save money by insulating with Asbestos. You can usually find it just laying around condemned buildings.

that is actually a good idea... asbestos can also be used as feminine pads for the wife....that will save another 5-10 bucks a month! I also highly recommend a good life insurance policy for the old lady...

Carmack says installing Rage on Xbox360 will be 20-22GB. That's larger than my hard drive.

So I guess this will be on three disks?

I like that new trailer. I rarely pre-order games, but this is the exception.

I heard it would be two but I could be wrong. I probably get it for PS3 since I'm too lazy to swap disc.

I am just not really "feeling it" for GOW3. I was extremely excited when the first one came out. The second one...kinda excited, the third one...don't really care. I think the problem is that I have such a difficult time with the multiplayer. It has the biggest learning curve that I have dealt with. I will get the game eventually, but I won't be getting it on launch day.

Is this anything like the Ipod/Ipad game Rage?

I hope my sli 570 set-up can play this game on max settings. The visuals look insane. Everything about this game looks great. I also hope it supports 3D vision.

I do hope the game is more Fallout, and less GOW though. I'd love a more open world and some RPG elements.
