Doom is only $35 on cdkeys.com for PC, i'm really tempted to get it but also want to wait for reviews since I know the next couple months i'll be busy with Quantum Break, Uncharted, and Overwatch.

just got my invite for the Closed Beta. not sure exactly what that is because you know...it's me, but looking forward to it.

It's like a limited multiplayer-only trial for usually 2-4 days. They use it to stress test their system and check for bugs. Usually will give access to two or three maps. Closed Beta means you need an invite. Open Beta means anyone interested can download and play the game.

Got my invite too, I'll probably try to download it tonight when I go to sleep. I enjoyed the alpha quite a bit , even though I was sucking I was still having fun with it.

Welp, I tried to download is the operative word. It uses the same code as the one for the alpha and I had deleted and hid that one a brief time ago.

So that begs the question, if you previously (or accidentally) hid an alpha or beta...how exactly do you get it back? It's not like you can search in the game store for it? *grumble*

What system? On the PS4 it should be accessible from the Library selection for re-download. I'd imagine it would be listed in the Ready To Download list on X1.

X1....and they now have an option on X1 where you can hide things...and well this idiot hid it. So its missing, and you can't search for it. I think there is a button combination that you hit to get it all back...but have no idea what that is.

Oh. There's no hiding on the PS4. I will be taunted with the PT Demo until the end of this generation.
At least I now know I can hide any proof that I once owned Volgarr and Zheroes.

well, i tried to play a little Team Deathmatch yesterday to no avail. it was after 10 i got in ok, but no other players were available. i'll try again later or tomorrow...

Nope, my download is taking forever for some reason. I think it's right around 11 GB, but only 50% done after playing 5hrs of The Division.

When does the beta end?

I can't launch the Beta. I get to the screen where I can select/deselect the "I confirm that I have read the EULA" box, but can't highlight Continue. I've even closed and reopened the application. No dice.

I played the multi-player beta and I thought it was pretty bad - was kind of shocked at how bad it was actually - even worse than halo 5's multiplayer.

Not surprising (Doom multiplayer hasn't been a thing since the mid-90s, and now they've gone and made it super generic). What was wrong w/ H5s MP?

Actually curious because I haven't played it (not a big Halo fan).

Halo's MP was just.....bland and boring it felt like playing a generic template of advanced warfare's MP (even though advanced warfare technically stole from halo) - that's about as best as I can explain it.
