Regarding online play, I'm hoping EA servers are to blame for my frequent disconnects and not my setup. |

Yeah, wireless is just as quirky. Are the issues specifically with the PS3? My Wii has no problems connecting via wireless, but the PS3 always loses the connection at least once. I guess I'll be researching for a new brand of router.

Sorry if this has already been discussed ad nauseum, but I couldn't find it. Is the 60GB version of the PS3 (with the old chip that was dropped for the 80GB) able to play all PS1 and PS2 games with no significant issues? Or are there still some backward compatibility problems? I'm wondering if I can buy any last-gen games that I want, or if there's a list I should consult first.

Check this page http://www.us.playstation.com/Support/CompatibleStatus to see if the game you want will work. |
That's exactly what I was looking for. Thank you.

Play magazine's review of Heavenly Sword makes it sounds fantastic...

So I've got one coming and thought I'd ask this here instead of just the deal thread:

Yep, it is a one time thing.
You create an internal memory card and transfer the saves over. |
question about backwards compatibly
Do the lunar games work on the PS3 and a question about Xenogears(haven't played it yet).
I've heard that if you play it on the PS2 the game will crash on a certain boss battle. Does this happen on the PS3? |
Does anyone know of any websites that you can make a ps3 gamercard? Thanks for your help.

How is the PS3's DVD upscaling compared with an HDMI-360 and stand-alone 1080i players?
|
I have no basis for comparison, but the PS3's upscaler is really good, in my opinion. I was watching Empire Strikes back and I switched back and forth during a scene when they're in a hangar on Hoth. It looks drastically better.

I use regular.

So, I guess the PS3 won't be playing Transformers (the movie) or Shrek 3 anytime soon.

To be clear - I have NO information that this will actually happen, just my own personal belief. |
