DVD Talk Platinum Edition
I've been busy playing MLB The Show '07, Ridge Racer 7, Oblivion and FFXII on mine. Also been using it to watch Blu-Ray movies. My 360 and Wii are pretty much dust collectors at this point, although the kids play the Wii every now and then. Can't wait for Lair and Heavenly Sword!

I just tried out Formula One to review and ended up really enjoying it. It's only the second PS3 game I own, but I like it a lot. Also, don't forget Ninja Gaiden Sigma is coming out at the end of the month.

Just finished F.E.A.R., not a bad little game, nice ending. Still play Tiger Woods 2007 3X a week. not really worried about the lack of games. I see some good titles coming out soon and i'm broke so by the time i have money again i'll at least have something to spend it on.
I remember in the early days of PS2 i ended up playing a lot of sports games, i guess that is just what is readly available at a launch.
Also, do we have a thread where everybody put their PS3 ID tag in it, i kinda want to go through and some some of y'all

I need a deal on MLB The Show. I'm getting a new TV today, so my PS3 is moving from my old 26" LCD to my new 60" Sony
2K7 is going to be gone...I just wish the Playstation RLS site would get MLB (they have 4 PS3 games currently)
*Also, does the PS3 handle DVD+R or DVD-R's pretty good? How is the upconversion for DVD's also? I'm thinking of just using my PS3 as my DVD player now.

Read on 1up this morning that there's an updated online version of Tekken 5 coming out (or already out) in Japan. That gives me the impression that they might be using it as a guinea pig for Tekken 6 and Soul Calibur 4. That would be sweet.

Well, from what I could gather it's $23.00 for the full download and something like $8.00 to upgrade if you had already bought it. Keep in mind this is in Japan though. I'm at work so I can't check 1up to verify.

So I downloaded some trailers the other day and finally got around to watching them (including the second Transformers trailer). In some scenes, there seems to be a lot of pixelation. Is this my PS3, my TV, or the trailer itself? I download everything at 1080p when available...

Formula One.
Meanwhile about Tekken, what is this shit about us paying for the upgrade? $8 when anyone who didn't buy it originally gets it for $3 more? Fuck that.
