Oh, another HUGE point

stop using 3rd person, out of the car view. You will lose using that. You're going to have to make the switch to 1st person view, and it's really the correct choice

Its "Beautiful Katamari" and its going to be on Wii/PS3/360, and yes it will be sweet. Katamari Achievements could be very odd.

Forza? I prefer that view, but it seems to put me at a disadvantage, at least until I REALLY know the track. I play with the braking lines enabled and it's easier to see upcoming turns from the 3rd person view.

Replays in 1st person view, without the hood are really cool. Stand a few feet closer to your TV and try not to puke.

well, my friend used to think that same thing (preferred 3rd person)

it's obvious to me, at least, that being able to "feel" the car skid is loads easier in first person. Also, you're less subject to oversteer that way.

Does anyone know anything about the official 360 racing wheels (preferably the wireless, but whatever)

I'm seriously thinking about getting one for Forza 2, but from previous experiences with other consoles, it's been a bust as far as realism is concerned

A friend of mine got his but didn't like it: but he's not a big racing fan.

I have the official first party wheel. It's not as good as the really good Logitech PS2 wheels, and you need to have a very definite setup to use it. It's unusable in the lap. I am going to try to build something for it, but I am pretty disappointed so far.

I seem to be in the minority, but I'm pretty happy with the MS wireless wheel. I don't have a set-up for it and I find it usable just sitting on my lap. I'm not sure if it's really worth the high price, so I can't say I would wholeheartedly recommend it, but I'm satisfied with it, and it does make for a more realistic experience.

I was going to get it on ebay. It seems to be going for about 100 w/ Forza 2 packed in

I could probably get the wheel alone for 80ish, but I want to do my homework first, ya know

$100 for the wheel, PGR3 (which should be included with the wheel), and Forza 2 seems like a good deal to me. Read a few more reviews of the wheel, though. Like I said, my opinion of it seems to be the minority viewpoint.

How come movie downloads on the marketplace are only rentals? Is there any way to buy a permanent copy over XBL?

Nope, strictly rentals so far.

Crappy. I almost pulled the trigger on Fountain HD until I read that rental crap. Why are tv shows permanent and not these?

Had some friends over last night and we played Fusion Frenzy 2. Wow. What crap. Same goes for Monster Madness. More crap.

We did get some 4-player Aegis Wing going and that was a blast with everyone in the same room. I have a gripe about this one and Boom Boom Rocket though. Basically you can't just start up a multiplayer match and go. Everyone has to have a live account to log into. What a pain in the ass. Why MS? Why? What the fuck is up with that?

I like the updated graphics and what-not, but I really REALLY don't like that they dumbed down the challenge with the yellow and red icons on the pressure plates so you know what to hit and what to avoid and the swirling purple stuff around important things.
Just downloaded the demo last night and was (surprisingly) REALLY disappointed that the game didn't have the classic graphics. I dl a lot of XBLA games out of nostalgia alone, so seeing the updated look of PoP pissed me off a little.

Because they aren't going to let you buy a movie unless they charge $15 for them. More people will rent than buy.
