FWIW, Gibson owns Kramer.

So is that meant to be Slash on the cover or just a similar looking guy?

Also, that guitar doesn't excite me. I'm going for the game only version.

That's Lars Umlaut, and he's much more Black Metal than he is KISS.

Oh c'mon how could you not have heard Hier Kommt Alex. (heeerre cooommmeeess Alex)

"Take This Life," by In Flames --- not my first pick for an In Flames song, but should be a blast no less (Their last album sounded more like Korn than In Flames, was weird). Plus having In Flames in there, period .

I've only heard of two. For reference, Lacuna Coil is in the same vein as Evanescence, except they have a male and a female vocalist. They've been around longer than Evanescence though.

I thought they were going to have separate songs for the European release to appeal to their different tastes...are those actually going to be in the US version?

I wouldn't relate it to evanescence at all, considering its a completely different genre.

Lacuna Coil is a metal band that uses 7 string guitars, which means detuned and extremely low sounding (think of a bass)

Maybe you're relating the vocals, idk

They're not that metal. Hard rock with similar vocal styles.

Ruby by Kaiser Chiefs is probably one of my favourite songs of the year, so that gets a big but the rest of those 'international' hits I've NEVER heard of.

Oh well. My first comparison would have been Nightwish, but seeing how the poster had never heard of Lacuna Coil it is doubtful he'd heard of them either. I went for something mainstream.

Really wish they picked some older songs from NIN (for Rock Band), Lacuna Coil, and In Flames, but I guess something is better than nothing.

Nightwish is a much better comparision. But most people havent heard of them and maybe to some people Evanescence and Lacuna Coil sound similar enough...but not to me. Not to hate on you...I just get sick of the comparision being made when it's not close.
