Probably my favorite feature there. Just so you can see exactly how much you've played each title(since you signed up at least).
What is that, and how do you check it? I want to find out what mine is.

well it only works if you sign up. So if you sign up today all your games will be set at 0 days. I signed up when it launched so I have a pretty accurate representation. I think it was around this time last year. For example, I played the shit out of Burnout Revenge(60+ hours), but my profile there says I only played it 8 days, which would be 8 days after I signed up.

If you have signed up, on the right hand side it has a list of your most played games. Under that there is a link to "view all games." Click and see. Another example, I find it interesting that I've only booted up Gears on 11 days since it came out.

At any rate:360 Voice

CoD2 is the top game for me with 50 days.

Then Gears and finally Crackdown. It keeps giving Crackdown a day though when i've been using it about every day for the Halo beta.

I don't think they sent many copies out at all, I checked three of the local GameStop/EB Games yesterday and only 1 got an extra copy over their reserve amount. One of the clerks told me he had probably 10 people come in and ask about it, but none of the stores around him had any.

On the opposite end of the spectrum he said they got a bunch of copies of Forza.

Yeah, Shadowrun is $60. I'm willing to bet that one of the big chain stores will have it at $40 before the summer is out. At the very least, it'll be available used for less than $40 within a month or two. Not that it's a bad game - I enjoyed the beta - but it's too much of a niche game to sell well at $60. On top of that, this is the kind of game that's best with friends, so we might see the "CoD 3 effect" where it's hot for a month or so and then disappears except for the hardcores. The lack of review copies being sent out doesn't bode too well either...

My most played games are COD2 at 50+ and GOW at 50+. GHII is now third on my list.

Why the fuck is the 360 version of Shadowrun $60 while the PC version is $50?
Is it really that much more to develop for the 360? I know for a fact it's not, so this is a straight-up fleecing. Add to that the fact that you pretty much need to have Xbox Live to play it - and we're left with a rip-off that seem to exist only to make MS money - I mean, $60 for a game that's only on-line multi-player? Give me a fuckin' break - that's the kind of thing that's supposed to be a bonus to an actual game - not the only thing.

I think that's typical of PC/360 releases. 360 price point for games is $60, and only very few PC games are at that level. They're just priced standard regardless of development costs or whatever.

I guess you've never bought an Unreal Tournament game before...

This type of game isn't for everyone but there are a lot of people out there who buy games to just play on-line. Personally I think it should be cheaper too but I'm not surprised that it isn't.

You don't have to pay microsoft to develop a PC game, but to make an Xbox360 game Microsoft gets a cut. It's been like that for years now. The PC versions have always been cheaper than the console counterparts.

The Unreal games were never at such a premium, and judging from what I've seen, the UT games had a shit-load more polish than this turd seems to have.

Also, do they have to pay MS that much of a premium to justify a 20% hike? Also, for every PC game that costs more on a console, there's about 10 that cost the same (when they first come out, anyways).

Haven't all games been more expensive on a console compared to a PC? Usually between $10 & $20 cheaper on the PC.

Not anymore. $59 is the new standard for PS3 and 360 games. Don't expect a game to be any cheaper because the Wii/PC version is less.

Yep. So much for MS published games retaining the $49 price that they said they would.

Lumines! is my top, finally displacing Bejeweled. I didn't play these "the most" I just played them daily, consistently, for 10-20 minute bursts.

I'm wondering how the multiplayer between 360 and computer works in Shadowrun. Wouldn't the mouse and keyboard players on the computer have a distinct advantage?

According to the diaries and developer comments they worked on balancing between controller and m/k pretty heavily to where both are equally winning or even tilted a little to the controllers. The controllers have a hefty auto-aim included.

didn't see it mentioned, but there are 3 new landscapes and 1 voice pack up for Worms. One landscape is free (as is the sound pack) the other maps are 150 each.

added: also free costume keys for Dead Rising!

I saw that Dead Rising content mentioned on Joystiq. They said it was capcom's way of saying thank you for making it and Lost Planet million sellers. Giving us content that no one in their right mind would pay for. Then charging for the new themes. Classic. Thanks Capcom!

Wasn't that long since out the window with Gears of War being $60?

So who buys these themes? Anyone here?

The only theme I bought was a Halo Wars one where for some reason I thought it was free and clicked on it. Otherwise, I download all the free ones, even the really crappy ones. I guess I can understand if you love a game like Gears of War, you'd want the theme. But they charge for some of the movie themed ones too, and those are basically advertisements... I'd like to see the sales on that Jamie Kennedy movie one.

I have bought two themes because they were pin-up art which i absolutely love and own several books of this art style. I bought the CoD3 pin-up theme and one of the Battlestations pin-up themes.

I did also buy the pin-up gamerpic pack.
