June at some point. I will be addicted to both of these... though my girlfriend thinks I'm never going to play the real life Carcassone board game again.

Any word on whether it will include any expansions other than the River?

Can anyone tell me why Catan will be so "sweet"?

I've never played it, but from the descriptions, it just seems kinda boring.

much like Puerto Rico the premise of the games hoarding resources and whatnot sounds boring as hell, when in fact the games are awesome. You just have to play them for yourself to "get it".

Realized I should have posted this here too for greater exposure.

Puzzle Quest is coming to XBLA later this year - http://kotaku.com/gaming/fahey-faint...bla-256696.php

If it includes online multiplayer, I'm definitely in for a rebuy (once I get my 360, of course).

It's awesome, plain and simple. My question is how are they going to handle the demo of this? Make it offline only? Half of a game? Time limit?

Blue Dragon comes out in August. Can I still resist buying a 360 with that on the horizon?

Yes. You've lasted this long, you can last 3 more months until the game is actually out. Besides, you never know when the next surprise hardware revision is going to hit.

No. You can't. I'm even looking forward to Eternal Sonata (Trusty Bell).

True. Actually, I just need to find out what the "average" length of the game is.. if it's over 40 or 50 I'll bail and stick to a Wii solo world for the moment. I'm willing to jump into a clunky turn-based RPG based on the talent involved, but my stance on overlong RPGs takes precedence here.

Plus the game has 3 DVD9s of pre-rendered video.. that's got my really worried too.

That one is pushing me much more than Blue Dragon.. cel-shaded, action-based. Hot.

What's the release date on that one? I've liked what I've seen of it and it and Blue Dragon are what I have my eyes on for my "2 must-have" rule.

It's listed as September...so a fall release could be likely. I think this was just announced for the PS3 as well, not sure if it's going to be identical or not though.

Just the river and the original from what I've heard. I'm sure microtransactions are possible if it sells well.

The VGA cable comes with an optical audio slot, which is preferred. it also comes with, I believe, the regular red/white audio out and an adapter to turn that into a computer audio out, so you can connect it through your computer speakers.

You'll still need some kind of monitor switch to switch the video between your 360 and your computer, however.

Thanks a lot for any info!
1) Check this link:

http://hardware.teamxbox.com/reviews...D-AV-Cable/p1/.

"Depending on your audio system you’ll need to either connect the left and right (white and red) audio connectors to the audio input on your monitor, receiver or amplifier. If you have a surround sound system with digital audio input, connect the audio digital output found on the AV connector of Xbox 360 VGA HD AV cable with your system using an optical cable."

If you have a single audio input on your PC/monitor/receiver, you can buy a converter at Radio Shack that combines left and right inputs into a single audio input.

2) You need a KVM switch. This is a pretty good cheap one:

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16817107246.

That will let you toggle between two input sources on a single VGA monitor.
