wow After the update I got the 3 red lights, I did everything and nothing would work, I almost sent it in and out no where It worked. didnt work since they updated. I called xbox and was almost about to send it in.

Whats up with that?


edit: nevermind, I turned it off and turned it back on and got the red lights

edit again: unpluged the Ethernet cable and turned it on and it worked fine.

i still get the red light but after a few times i get it working

got to play the Forza 2 demo, game is alright, graphics are a let down, not much different then the xbox game, the textures are pretty week, cars look so so and damage is pretty much a joke in the demo. Doesnt look like a next gen game.

Any good deals anywhere on a new 360? The brother-in-law wants one. I see the new super-duper-special black edition is $480 some places - just $80 more than a Premium. Is it worth the extra $80? Are there even any left?

Interesting. I checked my 360 status there today. It said it was out of warranty, but support told me the warranty would be extended for a year when I had it repaired about a month ago.
I guess another call to support is in order.

Looks like I'm sending my 360 in. I got the red lights again. According the code I get it's an Unknown Error. Sigh. I just got Shrek 3 today too.

Yup, my shirt and Fusion Frenzy 2 arrived yesterday. The shirt's better than I expected. It's understated - just red text on a white background, made to look like the label on an older version of Old Spice. Mine was medium for what it's worth.

Fusion Frenzy 2, on the other hand...well, at least it was free. ;) It does have some easy achievements though.

I have no interest in the game, but without a receipt I'm not sure what my options are other then to trade or sell it on eBay. The game is sealed and looks like it would if you bought it from a store.

Seeing as most stores require a receipt, I couldn't exchange it and get another game even paying the difference as I believe Fusion Frenzy is cheaper then the rest of the 360 games.

It's not a completely awful game. It should hold my interest long enough to get a bunch of achievements, and then I'll just trade it in for some credit, even if it's not much. But you're correct, I think I've seen it selling for about $30 in stores. It's the same exact game you would buy from a store, so you can sell it as new on eBay, Half, or Amazon. Seems to be fetching around $25 or $30 on those sites, so that might be a good option.

I bought Crackdown for $40 yesterday and pre-ordered Forza 2. I think that's enough (non-arcade) games for a while. I've got Gears of War, Oblivion, and GRAW to play through still as well.

Wal-Mart takes games without a receipt. I can take Fuzion Frenzy 2 off anyone's hands for $12.50 shipped via PayPal. (I'm in the US so media mail should run you $2ish).

360's that are Modded apparently. But it's not clear.

Also, I believe there was some site (360saves.com) where people were trading saves and such to cheat for achievements, and anyone who uploaded a save to that was also banned.

No no. What happened with 360saves was that everyone who uploaded saves there had their console ID recorded and MS revoked their right to transfer saves between consoles.

do you think it had something to do with modding, or do you think this is related to the halo 3 beta?
