Check out this one, it will tell you specifically

If that was your download speed, I'd say you may have trouble especially if you are hosting games. I've never tried with a connection that slow (most of my online playing was done with my original xbox on live, I have a 360 but haven't ponied up for the gold membership yet on it. It is connected and I download stuff all the time, but as stated my connection is significantly faster than what you are showing).

EDIT: is this good, bad or average?
I'm guessing this is using Speed Boost as well.

Speed Boost throws off a lot of the tests. While downloading my boost hits about 13 - 14 mbps before docking at 6.5mbps.

Speed Boost is a thing Comcast added to make their service more Comcastic.
Basically, it's a short burst of high(er) speed transfer speeds, generally doubling your standard maximum (I get 6.5mbps, so the boost is about 13mbps). It only lasts about 20 to 30 seconds, which is great for smaller files (it's about 1.5MB per second) and just long enough to screw up most pipe speed tests
.
Edit: It's called Power Boost, my bad.

TBH I like the 360 being a traditional gamepad, I have no desire to start moving it around.

Ok, fair enough. I was just trying to avoid a war.

Nice Achievement tweak. I hate jumping out of a game just to see what I just unlocked and its value.

Yep
I just saw the video and all I can say is WOW to all the stuff they're adding.

Sounds like a pretty good update. I was hoping they'd finally fix the "Play Game" thing, but maybe that'll be in the fall update. It's also nice to finally have a date for the spring update.

I saw a screenshot yesterday that showed the Play game change. So that isn't included? That is one I have been wanting for a while, especially since the Wii came out and shows you what is in the drive.

Was bored last night and decided to give Luxor 2 a go. Damn XBLA! - Ten more dollars down the tube.
I love Zuma so this was a no brainer really, but I have to say it is far from difficult. I started on the highest difficulty and have had little trouble thus far. I think I'm already halfway through the game. I'm also still on my first game. Only lost a couple lives and haven't had to continue yet.
It is fun though, but having the marble shooter stuck on the bottom of the screen definitely limits the challenge. Haven't tried for any achievements yet, not sure what they entail. I've managed to get 4 just playing through normally.
Anyone else cave and pick it up? Bus?

Woe is me. I'm sending my 360 in for repair.
It stopped reading any discs yesterday, so I called M$. They said to ship it in. The standard $140. They'll send a prepaid shipping box, extend the warranty for another full year, plus another month on my XBL sub. I got mine on launch day, so I guess I've been lucky.

I downloaded it and played the first levels that they give you for free. You sure can score a lot higher in this game than in Zuma. I think my score for Luxor 2 is already higher than Zuma and I got up past the 9-1 level on that one.
I don't know if I want to spend $10 on it right now. Maybe during the summer, when nothing is on tv.
Chris
