My initial plan was to buy it used as well, but I'm an impatient bastard so I just picked it up this morning. I shouldn't have a hard time selling the remote for $40, so that's how I'll justify my purchase.
Anyway, I got the last copy at the Target near my office. I had to walk to a nearby pager device and page an employee since no one was near the games section to open the case. The guy showed up almost immediately, and after we walked over to the game case, he asked which one I wanted. When I said "Wii Play", two other customers standing nearby got a little frustrated since they had been standing around waiting for an employee to show up, and there was only one copy left. Since I actually took the initiative to go find an employee, I didn't feel too bad about it, but it was sort of funny how everyone swarmed the Wii games section once the red-shirt appeared. Another customer standing nearby asked me about the game, and I explained that it was a mini-game collection that includes an extra remote. She said she'd have to keep an eye out for it and pick up a copy later.
I'm not expecting great things from this game, but I figured it's worth $10 for another multiplayer game that my wife will probably enjoy.

I found a copy at my local Best Buy this afternoon. Since my Newegg order status still said "Not Transferred", I cancelled my order and picked up a copy at Best Buy. I wish I knew about the coupon before I bought it though.

Got WiiPlay from BB today. They had sold six in the hour before I got there, and I saw at least 5 others move just while I was in the store. Popular game. I just got my Wii, so I only had one remote
I did use a printout of the coupon, worked fine.
(Corollary to Amazon misprice thread: what if, hypothetically, BB said "That is a "copy", you owe us 10 bucks")
Oh yeah, and some guy was looking for a PS3, and the blueshirt said "We used to have a whole bunch of them, maybe we sold them."

Can someone e-mail me the coupon as well?
Picked up Wii Play today. Decent game. The Tanks game was probably the best. Nothing too special but an ok value with the Wii-Mote.

I ended up buying this today and I don't even have a Wii yet. Guess I'm getting one at some point. Used the $5 off coupon and some reward zone rebates so it was only $35 for me. Total freaking impulse buy. Guess Sony is right.

Played the single player mode for a little while last night. I only managed to get bronze and silver medals - no golds or platinums - so I think that going for the higher medals on every minigame will extend the life of the single player mode. I'm thinking that the 2-player mode will be more enjoyable than the single player, though. I'll have to try it out tonight. My favorite minigames are billiards, laser hockey, cow racing, and tanks. The rest range from decent to pretty dull. I'd still recommend it for those who need an extra controller, or those willing to sell the extra controller. I'd imagine that the used price of the game itself will drop pretty quick, so that's another option.

Still seeing a dozen or so of Wii Play at Wal-mart and Target. At Target it was the only way to get a remote.

Got a Wii Play at Target today. They only had 2 in the case. I actually didn't think I'd find one with the remote shortage.
I bought it for the remote, but some of the games are cool. I think for the $10 the game actually costs, pool and tanks make it worth it.

I went to EB Games today and traded in a bunch of old games and movies and got this game. It's ok but not fifty bucks ok. If it was $19.99 or less, then it would be a pretty good game. I hate I had to get another wii-mote as well. I didn't need another one, I had plenty already.

Pretty much every review and everyone I've seen talk about Wii Play has said: It's worth $10-15, -- buy it for the remote.
