Damn, #2 and I doubt I'll catch #1 anytime soon! Once my friend and I hit 40k, Gears of War came out and we both kinda quit to enjoy games....I'll still pop in the occasional crap game (Fuzion Frenzy 2) for easy points though :)

BTW, for those that don't know, you can register on mygamertag and turn on the flash gamercard features like "Currently playing", "Last seen", Nationality, etc...

Kind of a cool feature. While you are browsing the list, it eliminates having to jump out to Xbox.com to see if someone is online and what they are currently playing.

Be sure to log on to www.xbox.com/rewards on February 12 to sign up for participation. Reward quantities are limited so gamers who reach the set goal will be awarded on a first come, first served basis only.

Pretty lame for all the build-up that was going on. I am suprised it's about gamerscore rather than achievements. This program is sooo going to be abused by the community. 1,500 gamerscore is but a drop in the bucket. Those prizes aren't going to last very long.

So is it the first to add 1500 points or is there going to be a drawing for everyone who gains 1500 points (that had signed up for this, of course). Doesn't seem clear (to me) on that. If it were a random drawing of everyone who met the criteria, I'd imagine the whole thing would go more smoothly and abused much less.

Lame since it dosen't include Canadians.

But hey I am in the top 200 :)

Fortunately I haven't padded my score at all, and still have 1000 to go on Rainbow 6, @ 800 on GoW, and 200 left on Dead Rising. All of which were on deck anyway since I am basically done with Viva Pinata. I was going to shoot for a Wild Card pinata next, but I may have to put it on the back burner for the contest.

I don't think the gamer score prizes are all bad... I'd take a free Fusion Frenzy.

I can't wait tomorrow I finally get my 360 back from the repair center. Man it has been a long 3 weeks.

Wow....hard to believe I still have a decent spot in the list. I'm very happy with 7th place considering I am trying to divide my time between the 360, the Wii and I am also using my PS3 to catch up on PS2 games I missed over the past 2 years.

Alright, stupid question time. A Windows Live ID, that is what I use to log onto XboxLive at xbox.com already. Correct? Just want to make sure I don't have to sign up for something else.

I guess the 2 games I have coming from gamesnflix probably today will have to sit at least partially idle until the 12th now :)

And yes that is how I interpert the last part is that it is first come first serve.

Yes.. Windows Live ID is what you use to log onto xbox.com

If you log in and see your gamer card, you have your gamer tag linked to your windows live id already and are set for that part of the requirements. :)

Thanks Vryce, that's what I thought just wanted to be prepared for the 12th.
