you bought Wii Play for the game?!!..........laughable man

as did i, they make for good fun family/friend party games. remote was a bonus. that being said I wouldn't have paid more than 15 or so for the game alone.

I think WiiPlay does a good job at showing different ways the controller can be used, but I don't know if it will have the longtime appeal that Sports would. I like laser hockey and pool.
Do the controllers that come with Play need new straps?

Its alright for $10. Laser Hockey is worth the $10 and Tanks is pretty decent.

No issues at all. I've had good luck with Linksys. My wife and I had an absolute blast playing bowling. I see that game being in heavy rotation.

Is the Wii drought at retail over? I must have seen at least 20 Wii's today between a Target, Wal-Mart and TRU. (and this was last in the afternoon).

It's getting close, but not yet. It's a regional thing. SoCal seems to still have a drought. I still have yet to see a Wii in the wild and my local Circuit City still has a sign in the window saying, "We are sold out of the Wii"

The only time I've seen a Wii instore is when I camped out for one in early December. Nothing since. I've also only seen two PS3's in store (seen one each at 2 different places). Seems like both are still hard to come by here in SoCal. I have friends that say they have seen more PS3's around, but none have come across the Wii.

The channel is under the WiiWare section, where the Opera Browser was, not under the VC.

I played around with it a little last night. Kind of fun.

Does anyone know if this is common. I think when I had just one wiimote, I could hit the power button on it and it would start up both the console and the remote. But now that I have three wiimotes, I hit power on the remote, but have to hit A just to turn on the controller and then A to clear the black text screen. Is that familiar to anyone?

I spent about 5 minutes on it. It might be cool when they incorporate some real questions that have some bearing on something.

I finally downloaded Kid Icarus. Still a blast after all these years. I breezed through the first couple of levels before dying a few times on level 3. I remember beating it 20 years ago, hopefully I can do it again.

I saw some sort of Wii magazine at EB. It was $17. Did anyone else see it or buy it? What the hell is it?

You know what pisses me off? People selling the Wii Play game for $35+ on Amazon market place. Stupid a-holes, you can't list your item in that category if it only comes with the game and not a Wiimote, what the *uck! It's a total rip off.

Don't give me the crap that people still would buy the game for $30 something bucks... If that's the case, the seller doesn't need to disguise the sale in the actual Wii Play item listing. People like that stunk up the market place...

if its pretty obvious they are just selling the game, I really don't see the problem
