Anyone in the Houston area looking for a PS3, the Wal Mart in Pearland has about 23 60gb in stock. Was there just about 30 minutes ago. Someone visiting from Florida (they metioned this when they said tey could not locate on there) asked if they had any in stock. Clerk said 23, and most store in the area had them, but weren't selling too fast.

You're pretty much in my shoes... my PS2 is broken so thinking that instead of putting down another $130, why not count that toward the PS3?
Well, at the end, i decided to get the PS2 and PS3. Here are my reasons:
1. PS2 silver is cool, match my DLP
2. PS2 uses less electricity (way less)
3. Don't wanna kill the PS3's life span on dvds/games you can do on PS2

I just went to 5 stores trying to find a PS2 memory adapter for the PS3. Nada.
I could have bought a PS3 at 4 out of the 5 stores, but no adapter. If it is not one thing with Sony, it is another. What I don't get is that I just want to transfer my saved games and then re-sell it. I will only need it for about 5 minutes, and I will be done with it. I figured I could find a whole bunch that people who are like-minded returned when finished with them. But no, there is nothing nowhere. Is there another purpose for these devices that I am not aware of?

I bought my PS3 about a month ago from Best Buy and got the 20 gig. Is it possible to return it and swap it out for the 60 gig? I doubt it, but thought I'd ask. I couldn't find the 60 gig when i was looking back then.

Do you just want a larger HD? If so just get an upgraded HD and replace the 20 with a larger one.

How in the world can you get your controller fully charged? I've been playing with the cord attached to the system for days and I still have only one bar showing.

My friend thought the red lights on the controller were battery level when he first played my PS3, but they are not.

Okay, I did a search on this and didn't see anything relevant. I'm trying to hook up my PS3 to the internet wirelessly. The router is up and has worked fine with every other piece of wifi capable electronics we own. When I try to connect with the PS3, it says everything is fine until it gets to the UPnP, at which point it says "failed." It then continues to connect and disconnect me from the internet every few seconds. Any help on this one? I tried Sony's website, which is a sad joke of a help site.
