They have 4 360 games for $20 or less. They also have a bunch of PSP and other system's games cheap. The best part, google checkout.

I definitely see Sony's share going below 50% although I'd be surprised if it went below 35%.

This all depends on how well the Wii is accepted by the casual, non-gamers Nintendo is targeting, since Nintendo can manufacture the units to catch up.

you have to understand that these analysts probably know less than the normal avid gamer. they only look at trends, and make comparisons accordingly. They are definitely not Nostradamus incarnates.
that being said, it's amazing how many people listen to them and think they actually know wtf they are talking about

I think regular gamers understand why crappy licensed games sell well (it's the license, duh), they just don't understand how the people who buy them can like them.

I really liked the Demo. I guess I'll be the only one buying Superman Returns.

This being the 1-year anniversary of the 360, I finally went ahead and bought myself one. And I got a $100 rebate - I always said I'd hold off until there was a price drop, and this was as good as one. I go into the details here: http://forum.dvdtalk.com/showthread.php?t=483697
Anyways - I knew it'd be cool and all, but I was not ready for 1080 HD gaming in 5.1 surround sound. Holy shit! The in-store demos do not do this justice. The only downside was that playing this on my home-theater set-up was just sensory overload - I seriously had to stop after about 20 minutes. Damn.
Oh, I got 2 games: Call of Duty 3, and Gears of War.
Quick question - how do I hook up to my DSL if it's upstairs and my 360 is downstairs? Will any remote thingy do?

Congrats on the new buy and welcome to the club. First you need to have a wireless router to send your DSL signal to your Xbox, then your going to need a Xbox 360 Wireless Network Adapter they go for about $99. Unless you can run a wire.

Well, I just tried the Superman demo. In my opinion it feels like a pretty good game, with lots of fun to be had, but it's not "$60 good". To me it's missing that little something extra to push it past the "average but good, wait for a price drop" range up to the "great, fantastic, first day purchase for sure" level.
I'll buy it for sure when I can grab it for $20-$40 or so. It would be the perfect type of game for one of those droughts where you want something new to play after you have just finished up all of the 50 hour long marathon games and the really, really solid games of the fall and winter.

Yes, it's worth it. Playing online with other people, downloading demos, XBLA, etc. Like I said before, shop around and you can get it for around half the retail price.
