Insane isn't even all that hard as long as you are patient. RAAM is challenging but with properly sniping it is not impossible.

I'd be game, but won't have a day off work until Saturday. Work 12+ hours shifts, so has to be a day off.

I don't remember what difficulty I was going through on (with T-Ball). I'll have to fire it up and check.

EDIT- I checked, and ended up playing for a while - I've beaten it on casual, now I need to go through on Hardcore, and possibly Insane. I still need to find 2 more cog tags...and I'm not sure which ones. They're in the first 2 acts. I've also only got one of the MP achievements, but I'm not sure I'll get them all before I give the game back to my friend, and not sure if I'm concerned with those anyways...

I need someone to help me finish casual. I'm at RAAM on the train and those fucking birds get me every time.

You must have forgotten to get the bird armor in act two. I'd just start over if I were you.

Just keep on the move. Keep them scattered with the light and fire away.

I can help out with RAAM. IN fact, we could do it on hardcore, so you get both achievements. All you need is a Bow, and one guy to sit and shoot him in the face.

Steel, cool man, I'll look you up on it. I'm in the midst of going through on Hardcore.

Shirley they don't give you the achievement for just beating RAAM. It keeps track of each section of every act on which difficulty you finished them. I would assume one needs to play the entire game on each difficulty to attain them.

Then again, if I'm wrong, mark me down for jumping in on RAAM on Hardcore for some quick points.

I'd be more than happy to help somebody out with RAAM, just shoot me an invite when I'm online (normally, I'm on with GH or RB and can drop those without too much issue).

Indeed you can - just choose the battle sections for those specific achievements (RAAM, the Corpser, Berserker), set it to hardcore, beat the beastie, and get the achievement. DB1zzle and I went through and did them last night.

Is this game still $59.99?

I'd have to say if this was a Sony game it would be cheaper by now.

Yeah, you figure when Halo 3 and CoD4 came out, they'd have dropped GoW to $39.99. If it's not a "hits" title, then what is?

Alrighty, but can you load up the last section of an Act and get the "Finish Act #" achievement?

Oh, no. I misunderstood what you were asking then. It counts as defeating the 'chapter', and thusly the achievement for the beast, but not the whole act. Sorry about that...

I finally beat Gears last night, RAAM is not that tough (after 20 something tries that is, yeah, causal too). Yeah, i know, i suck at FPS, but i beat it and that's pretty good in my book. I didn't get the story much while playing the game, but it was so intense that i didn't think it matters that much. Anyhow, while looking for tips on RAAM, i read some FAQs with the story and characters explained in some extended detail. I have to say, i love the characters, but the civil war on Sera is too stretchy and the part Marcus almost executed for his desertion (w/o Dominic's testimony, he's one dead soldier). I don't have problem with restoring orders in the military, but come on now, 70-80% of the human population were wiped out by the Locust soldiers... Of course, it could have been better if they explain more in detail why Marcus did what he did (leaving his teammates behind is not this guy's style).

Am i hyped for Gears of War 2? Hell yeah! P.S. this is my first X360 game i beat, so yes, it's something...

Thought I'd post this here. NECA, toy company, is coming out with a Gears of War line. And the picture below is simply titled "Headshot"
