Lik-Sang got stung for hardware, and only to those going to the European market.. which still isn't illegal but they (supposedly) just didn't want to bother (or could afford) fighting Sony on it.

I'm a little confused here... isn't Lost Regnum an import? or did someone pick it up for a domestic release?

So I'm playing Ultimate Ghosts and Goblins now. This is a very fun game.. something that would be getting a hell of a lot of praise had it been released on the DS (probably the same as Gurumin, to be honest). It's got that old-school, hardcore difficulty to it, but it's also something that once you get the hang of it, you can impress with mad dodging and killing skills. I've found two ultimate weapons so far (the electric whip is freaking deadly) and I'm dying to find the ultimate knife (my favorite weapon).
UGG is an awesome game... i remember beating it on the Genesis, that was hard!!! The PSP version is nothing comparing to the Genesis version. I remember peopel comment on the game graphic back then (the rain, they were amazed that the game actually has periodic rains).

Anyhow, i love this game on the PSP, i'm at the last level, *ucking hard... The rest of the levels are pretty easy. Since i don't have the "official" version and i didn't read the instruction manual, it took me a little while to figure out the various item usuages (i know i know, you can read that from teh game, but i didn't pay attention until i really got stuck in the game).

THe double jump is required to pass the graveyeard pit. The flying shield is needed for the long pit in the next level. The flying armor is needed to defeat the flying dragon (mean looking creature, awesome graphic)

Lots lots stuffs added to this GG game. Oh, i hate the whip, the range is too short. The Holy Water (or acid) is very handy in most areas. I don't know about the ultimate knife.

Yes, it's import only. KurrptSenate seems to have an awesome collection of PSP games; I'd really love to see a picture of a collection that big.

Bad news for Sony, with poor PSP sales and shelf space at a premium, retailers apparently have given an ultimatum to Sony, or PSPs will disappear from retail shelves:

From 1up
With sales of the PSP lagging (Sony's PSP hardware shipments to retailers last Fall were down 72 percent over the year before, only a meager 10,000 units in the U.S.), word is that a few big name retailers have given Sony a mandate: drop the price or they'll drop the system from their stores. Entirely.
Speculation is that we will see a PSP redesign or colors instead of a price drop.

Yeap, the redesign will retain the same screen size... Kinda sweet, but lots of people wondering how Sony gonna do this, considering you need spaces for the buttons... Obiviously it's gonna be thinner, but many people think that's bad, b/c it will be easy to break due to thinness.

I'm guessing, perhaps a fold out design like a GBA with full mini-keyboard ?

I don't understand why the new Call of Duty : Roads to Glory isn't online infrastructure like CoD : Heros

how the hell does that make sense?

I used my PRP to exchange my launch system for a new one today. The Geek Squad guy fiddled with the system for about 20 minutes before getting me a new one. Turning the system on I noticed a little white dot in the upper right corner of the screen when the screen is black. When any other color is on the screen it's fine. It is only visible when the screen is black. Is that a stuck pixel? My last system had 4 pixels that were black all the time. I assume that those were dead ones.

I'm not going to bother returning it to Best Buy. The ordeal of getting this one was hassle enough.

Did they take it back because of the four pixels, or was there some other problem? i think my PRP expires soon, and a I have a few stuck pixels myself...

I wasn't sure if BB would accept dead pixels for a return so I told the guy the system was having trouble reading games. I know BB loves to screw people on PRPs so I didn't want to take any chances. I figured dead pixels were not a worthy enough excuse.

Man, as I posted earlier, my system completely stopped reading discs and was only 18 months old and gently used. Thankfully Costco took it back and I fortunately bought another one (for less money) before they put in their new 90 day return policy. That's some poor craftsmanship there. I'm so lucky that I didn't get it somewhere else since knowing my cheap ass, I wouldn't have splurged on the PRP.

The entertainment PSP bundle is now $199 at GameStop, a $50 price drop (see their ad).

No words on the core PSP pricing... By comparison, the core system should be $150. This is pretty news for those looking for a new PSP.
