I got my Beta invite yesterday (thank you sir!) and downloaded the client and copied a character over. but then i was out of time so i'll have to wait until tonight to actually log in

Right now on the first wave it looks like they are just testing the pandaran starting area 1-10. There are no bread crumbs to get to the new pandaran zones, there is a way but it's annoying.

I assume they must have some plan in place but for some reason they will not tell us what it is and give any estimates of when you should get into Beta.

Well first in the second pic, they haven't put in a pandaran mount yet, so to get one I had to buy a valentines lovebird on my live account and transfer that toon, only one aside from stormwind exalted that works on pandas.

The Pandaran also while having a riding animation, use it sporadically. Most of the time they just surf on the back of the mount. This includes flight paths.

And as mentioned, the blue/white cube is a placeholder model for anything not in the game yet, so it appears that no helm graphics are in the game yet, and if they are I've yet to see one. Every helm i try has that placeholder graphic.

I played on beta some this weekend. I transfered my 85 mage over but couldnt figure out how to get to the new zones so i started a Pandarian Monk and got to level 6. pretty fun class/zone but there is a bug where you cant see your location on the big map so it makes it difficult to figure out how to get places sometimes

That's because the new areas aren't open yet :P

Was pretty excited we got Warmaster Blackhorn down in DS on heroic mode so moved to 6/8 heroic. Two more bosses left for the tier for our little guild.

I looked but sadly no beta yet. I suspect you got hit up by a ton of requests so it makes sense if not all of us could get the access.

I hope people post some comments on their general feeling on the Panda zones especially the switch to Horde or Alliance and how it is handled.

How can you tell if you have beta access on your account? Mine looks the same as it always did...

Check your account status on battle.net. If you see Mop listed under your games then you are in the beta and can begin downloading and playing it.
