Yeah that is what I was thinking. I wonder if they just meant that it won't be analog control (IE, you can't just barely move stick and have Mario walk slowly). There is no reason you shouldn't be able to use the analog stick.

I would love this, but I would bet its not possible. They have nothing to gain by letting the console play Saturn and Dreamcast discs. They are trying to sell by download and downloading a 700mb game on a 512mb memory card is not going to happen.

33-81 at the many Targets within an hour or so of my place...not that it matters since I preordered, but does look like this will be super easy to find on launch morning.

This seems to indicate that they'll be available on the 16th. Quick look at BB.com also shows most titles releasing 11/15 which often is +1 day in store. I'm gonna try to hit a BB and/or Wal-Mart on Wednesday and Thursday to get what I need beforehand.

I have one preordered at work but I checked that list anyway, my local Target is getting 156! That is way more than I expected.

So I guess the Wiis come 3 to a box as every stock number is a multiple thereof. I just found out yesterday that my mom wants me to get 2 or 3 additional ones as Christmas gifts from her. Could make for a long morning if I try to get them all at launch.

24-81 here at my choice of 6 locations. closest one is getting 51. The store getting 81 is about a 20 minute drive. Decisions.

Still waiting on some concrete Sams intel as well.

I thought that I heard that wholesale stores like Sam's, Costco, and BJ's weren't getting them. I think it was in another thread.

Target down the street from me is getting 210. I was totally planning on buying one at launch but I might have to wait a little while due to financial issues.

I'm uber-pissed.

Sold my GC component cables today for $50. Also sold a few old games for more than I paid for them.

I also wanted an excuse to post this picture.

so, the Wii is going to eventually have DVD playback in Japan eh? Thats kind of frustrating. I by no means am in great need of a DVD player, but it can be convienient having a DVD player and console in one for traveling purposes... ahh well.

90, 36, and 20 at the Targets near us. Guess we'll be going to the one with the 90 (in the shopping district... that's probably not many). The inner city one is getting 20, but I don't believe getting shot is worth a Wii a little early. That's just playing with fire in the middle of the night. I really want this system and hopefully will be able to get one. Will go and see early morning when the sun comes up how the line is.

Yeah, its one of those things where its not a major deal, but I would pay a few extra bucks for the option. I've definitely taken my PStwo with me a couple of times since it was a small and could play games or DVDs. Ended up using it for DVDs more than anything. Nice to have the option.

Costco is for sure. I'm betting Sam's isn't far behind. Just a matter of time before an employee posts.

I just received my Sam's Club magazine Friday, and it had the PS3 and the Wii listed at available on 11-17 and 11-19 respectively. Now, that may be YMMV, but I bet they will.
