Solid Snake is the same character, no matter if you play Metal Gear or Metal Gear Solid. But it looks like he's going to most resemble the Metal Gear Solid 2 iteration of the character, from the screenshot I saw.

Yeah, I ended up seeing that pic from the E3 subforum thread. This is getting confusing.
I just didn't know if Nintendo could get the rights for a non-8bit SS. Not like they haven't done that style with Game & Watch. As I said, I don't keep up with the MGS games to even know what systems they've been on. Still hoping for Sonic! |

It's a third party series. Keep in mind that there was a MGS remake on the gamecube and that MGS2 got ported to the X-box. It's not a Sony series, they just have an exclusivity arrangement on the main games. |

All this new stuff looks great. My center channel is pretty big so I had to build a shelf on the wall for it. The sensor bar will sit perfectly on top of my HDTV. Solid Snake in Smash Bros seems really cool. |

I think its a bit harsh to say the Wii has "N64 graphics" as someone said in the E3 thread. They look more like souped up Cube graphics in most cases to me. It doesnt seem a huge leap forward that way. Pity.

The Wii's graphics are superior to the PSP and the DS, yet I don't hear people complaining about the graphics on those.

Trauma Center: Second Opinion Tidbits from Joystiq:
The game should be released within the Wii's "launch window" (i.e. before the end of the year). Two playable characters will be available, each one following a different path in the story. Unlike Derek (the original game's main character), the new doctor will not possess the "Healing Touch", instead boasting some other, sure to be wacky power. The game was almost called Trauma Center: Relapse. Thanks to the wiimote, Second Opinion will be much more intricate than the DS version and allow you to use more surgical tools. The nunchuck analog stick is used for selecting tools. The game will not be fully voice-acted. Only a couple of voice samples will be matched to on-screen text, much like the Legend of Zelda titles. Tomm hinted that you'd be able to use the wiimote and nunchuck as a defibrilator. |
