Are you sure it wasn't in the EGM rumor section? I have seen a lot of posts on Gamefaqs where kids read something in the rumor section and take it as a fact. I haven't seen any official word on Condemned 2 anywhere, in print or online. A FEAR sequel has been confirmed, so maybe we will get a Condemned sequel after it is done.

I know what you mean, but I'm pretty sure about it, it was awhile since I read it.

I hope you're right about it being confirmed, regardless of where it was posted. I love the original and I'd definitely buy a sequel. I even bought the original, after renting it and beating it, because I liked it so much and I wanted to play through it at least one more time.

I would be up for doing the co-op parts with you sometime. Do i need to actually beat the game first though? I thought it was kind of tough in parts and haven't made it very far.

Something running on the CoD engine set in the Civil War would be really interesting i would think. If it let a good deal more people into the game so you could actually push cannons and set up cannon lines and the like for some squad strategy.

I think as you progress through the game, you unlock more co-op content. So, you may need to have beaten the game first. But I'm not 100% certain.

And anytime you want to co-op Kameo, you just let me know Miyu. I'm definetly up for that.

It's being produced by Activision Value. I doubt it's gonna be too impressive

Ugh.. another game with a $10 higher tag just because its on the 360. I really wish the prices would be the same.

400 pts. I've been waiting forever on it, but it came out right at the time I picked up Dead Rising and LSWII so I haven't purchased yet.

I think as long as the host has them unlocked you are fine. The achievements for defeating the bosses in co-op mode are no more difficult than in the single player game. The Co-op 'A' Rankings require more skill and is not for the faint of heart. Based on your post, they probably aren't for you. Your best bet is to get familiar with the single player 'A' rankings, unless you just want to be a stooge for a person that can attain the 'A' rank w/o your help.

Glad to see the contest will reward a random person on the leaderboards and not just the top person. Kameo seems to have a tight knit group of guys that have worked together to maintain the top spots on the leaderboard w/o revealing their secrets. I was ranked 16th overall before that happened.

New Kingdom Under Fire game announced:

icrosoft announced today that “Kingdom Under Fire: Circle of Doom” will hit store shelves in Q2 2007. The Xbox 360 exclusive will take the franchise in a new direction as developer BLUESIDE and series director Henry Lee plan to create a truly next-generation Action-RPG, departing from their well-known Action-RTS formula.

Taking advantage of the Xbox 360 processing power, randomly generated dungeons and landscapes, along with thousands of fierce on-screen enemies attacking from all directions, will test the abilities of even the most skilled gamers and make for a new adventure around every corner. With a newly enhanced, intuitive control system, gamers will experience fast, blood-thirsty action.

Although not a direct successor to the previous “Kingdom Under Fire” titles, “Circle of Doom” serves as an important link between the storylines of its predecessors. Ooooh Snap! I swear I was just thinking how cool it would be to have a "Call of Duty type" set in another war era like WWI or some other war!

I think playing a Civil War game will be awesome.

Preach it Brother!!! Hell, even used games for 360 overpriced in most cases.

$60 has done 3 things to me:

1. I have fewer games because I'm not willing to risk $60

2. Caused me to pay closer attention to game reviews. I don't always listen, Blazing Angels comes to mind but then again BA ended up being a cool game both online and off so it worked out.

3. Cause me to replay games I have. Which is not not necessarily a bad thing especially with achievements to egg you on.

I just wish we could get some cool online RPG that would capture the feel of Diablo II. That thing ruled my life for years at a time and it would be so easy to do online.... hack and slash, unique eq to trade, skill trees, pvp.

Well that and a sequel or something very similar to Phantom Dust.

That would be awesome.. Diablo type game on XBox live.. Or Dungeon Keeper.

A sequel to phantom dust or an actual card battle type game would be welcome as well.
