$200 for the HD-DVD add-on, and they're tossing in a remote (eh) and Peter Jackson's King Kong HD-DVD (for a limited time). If I get enough X-mas money, I might pick it up. Unless the reviews are bad or the standalone prices drop.

Just to be clear, the HD-DVD plugs into the USB of the 360, correct? What other inputs/outputs are on the HD-DVD drive?
2 USB and a Power Supply, correct?
Also, are there pictures of it on TOP of the 360? Would this cause any issues? I hate putting it sideways, so I would not do that. Just curious.

This is probably a very stupid question, but I have to ask. Is there any advantage of buying the HD-DVD add-on if I don't have an HDTV? Aside from the free King Kong and remote, that is.

So, that I/O port (the smaller one) is what connects to the 360? Interesting. I think I may bite, since I like new technology, even though my HDTV only has component.

I still can't believe I woke up to find DOOM available. What a world we live in. *sniff*
I've only bought 1 Arcade game so far and that was for the wife but with the quality games releasing soon that will certainly change.
Those wallpapers for Halo Wars are simply amazing. Downloading the trailer now.
I tried that Sonic demo out around 5:30 am this morning and I was either very tired or the game is a bit hard to handle. The first rope you jump off of kept screwing me up and since it is a timed demo I didn't make it past there before the demo ended.

A few minutes ago I sent the picture to my buddy. He borrowed the entire guitar and game from someone at school and brought it home one weekend. We had a real good time with it and I would love to buy it.
The press conference video froze during the Assassin's Creed demo. I was so pissed. I had to restart. I was never good a Splinter Cell so this might be more my type of game. Hiding in the shadows was too tedious and boring for me so this looks like a nice change. It's a shame that the guy playing the game died and we couldn't see more.
