You're damn good bro, i tip my hat and loved every minute of it. Those types of intense games are what SF2 is all about. We definetly need more game time and thanks to you, i realised i jump too much lol.

Jessecrx, awesome games, i just had to take off or else id play more. Seriously, i see some fun ass times ahead!

I got to 50 Ranked Matches this morning. That was quick - I hadn't even had the game for 24 hours yet.

I do wish there were more online achievements though. I got them all in a few hours of play. Unfortunately the single player game still kicks me around - not sure how long it will take me to get the offline achievements.

Okay. I downloaded the demo last night to check it out.

I don't think, at this point anyways, that I will be buying it.

The demo lets you play with Ryu and Guise. I tried 2 matches with each. I barley got the computer down to half life and he kicked my butt both rounds.

That was on default setting. I then tried on 1 star difficulty level and still got my butt kicked. I didn't have fun playing it. Granted, I don't know any of the moves and reading the list, I could pull off a few special moves.

But the computer just spammed certain attacks and gave me no chance to block or move out of the way.

Sheesh crossposting.

Although to be honest i can't even beat the computer in single player mode but i have racked up 85 wins in ranked matches online. The AI in SF has always been really cheap and just shy of openly cheating.

Does anyone know if they make an adapter for the X-Arcade stick that will work for the 360? Using a real stick would make fireballs and uppercuts a little easier.

yea but this one is just ridiculous, i have no idea why they made it like this. There's almost no difference between 0 stars and 7 stars. I was playing on 0 stars and blanka did his headbite when I had full energy, and didn't let go until I was dead. 1 hit kill on 0 stars?? that's going to turn a lot of casual people off from this game. they also play "MK2" style where they don't do anything until the split-second you do and they always have the perfect counter. Beating the computer is basically finding a glitch and exploiting it the entire round. (slide with vega and bison and the right times, fireballs when they are about an inch away). The achievements are going to be pretty tough, I have them all but the win without losing ones. I got to sagat without losing a round and then died in 3 hits both rounds to lose, which pissed me off.

there's also some weird tweaks in this game, the players seem to have some "computer" abilities. I can get out of a dizzy in like .5 seconds now and have even been able to hit people in the middle of getting hit by their multi-hit moves. Only the cheap ass computer used to be able to do that.

that being said, it's a fun game, but i wish they released SSF2T instead, it's a much more balanced game. Ryu (2 roundhouses and youre dizzy, fierce > jab dragon punch youre pretty much dead already), Guile, blanka and depending on the connection ,e.honda own this game.

and jesse we gotta play so you can get some revenge on me for CvS2

I played this a bit yesterday, but I'm having a really tough time with the controller. Using the d-pad, I have a real hard time getting fireballs off, especially when facing left. Plus I end up jumping a lot when I just mean to block. Its a bit easier with the analog stick, but that has its own problems with blocking and general quickness. Anyone else experiencing the same thing? Which are you using, dpad or analog?

Single player is tough! I thought I was a pretty good SF player but I can't get past the 4th or 5th match on default difficulty no matter who I play with.

I started out with the D-Pad and switched over to the analog stick.

I swear some of the conversation in these quarter match rooms is simply comedy GOLD!

"Yead dude, this one guy picked honda and all he did was the hundred hand slap! That was SO cheap! I booted him from the room!"

"I hate it when people get me in the corner and don't let me fight. That is SO cheap!"

"Oh great, he's picking Sagat! Let me guess? TIGER! TIGER! TIGER! TIGER! Right? God, Sagat is so cheap!"

"RYE-YOU is his name. You don't say REE-YOU or ROO! You pronounce it RYE-YOU! Like RYE-BREAD except it's RYE-YOU! God some people are so stupid!"

"Are you a button masher? Like, do you just do the same moves over and over?"

"Combos are for ****! They are cheap as hell and do way too much damage."

"Why are you throwing me, fool!? Don't play cheap, fucker!"

Some things never change

and yes, good games Blitz. Be glad I am playing handicapped with this crappy 360 controller. I took it easy on ya last night. Next time it's gonna git ugly!

wow the online community for this game sucks big time. 6 of my last 7 wins were drops (people turning the game off right when they lose to avoid a loss). annoying as hell

Tell me about it, it was happening to me all last night. Plus I got quite a few negative feedbacks for cheating from when I won which is absurd! I have even lost a few games because I've eased up on some people because I felt like I was being too tough on them and yet I still get the cheating feedback. That is just BS! Some people just don't know how to man up and take a loss. Lord knows I've had my fair share of them.

I dunno, I haven't really hit that many bad people so far. I've done a decent amount of ranked matches but find it annoying just trying to get into a game. I'm just sick of how everybody uses only Ryu or Ken in ranked games. I atleast play as Guile to be different.

Look me up for a match sometime.

Funny, because I leave you negative feedback when you win in COD2

I'll be honest, I was mainly using Ryu/Ken because those are the guys whose moves I remembered. I switched up to Guile for a couple of matches yesterday, and I had forgotten how much fun his character can be to play.

Yeah, Guile is my favorite (and probably best) character. I actually encountered some of the opponent's dropping from a match when you beat them thing today. Two matches in a row I whupped whoever i was fighting against and then before the game counted it as a win the bastards dropped. Talk about annoying!

I just got the 30 online wins achievement today. That was quick. I'm not very good at the game, though. I don't know many of the moves, so I primarily use the kicks and some punches.
