Hey guys, thanks for the heads up with the coupons. Just picked up my DS Lite at Circuit City - no big "discount" on the price, but i did use my free brain age coupon and got the free mario case bundle to boot! I'm officially a happy camper now.

Decent case none-the-less. I may pick one up. I for one appreciate the heads up.

Sorry!
Didn't give a direct link,or mean to break rules, just read some people discussing DSL cases, and thought I'd share some info, and maybe help some folks out,as I didn't see these particular cases being discussed.

Thanx for understanding Michael !

No worries, just pointing out the rules. Mainly in place to keep people from linking to their own auctions and spamming the forum.

And I was suspicious since I've never seen you post here and you posted an auction link.

No problem Josh,
Like I said-just trying to be helpful.
Also here is my post #12 from this thread:

Greetings!
For any New Yorkers that might be interested-Long Islanders in particular,
It is confirmed that Target streeted it early.
as of around 4:30 p the one in Broadway mall in Hicksville had around 30 or so on the shelves (no regular DS in sight!) 141.20 w/tax.
Mine is charging now!
I'll post this in the other DS thread as well.

Don't post often-just a heads up every so often

Looks like the first cartridge I'll be throwing in is Castlevania: Dawn of Sorrow then to test mine. No other game I own has a blacker dual screen. ;-)

That case seems weak to me. I'm still using a case I had for my original GBA. It has a much larger section for games - I carry about 14 DS and 10 GBA games at a time. I never know what I'll be in the mood for.

In terms of the Wi-Fi, I think the only public places that I was able to get mine connected were the McDonald's hotspots. I haven't tried many places, but at home my router needed to be slowed down to ensure a consistent Wi-Fi connection. Other public hotspots had similar connection issues.

Get that Animal Crossing: Wild World and Mario Kart running online dudes! I need to play with some folks online again!!!!

Thanks for the free Brain Age! Awesome game!

Brain Age free with Lite with coupon at GameCrazy.

Might be able to get the 12 free rentals at Hollywood Video they usually give with system purchases as well.

Hmm, I think I might use this, I read somewhere that gamecrazy gives $71 for the original ds in trade, that would be worth the hassle of not having to sell it myself. Thanks

Beats me, its a manufacturers coupon, just branded to each store (different barcode numbers).

Maybe Nintendo decided not to include EB in the deal, or EB just passed on it for some reason.

Maybe because they already had pre-orders locked up, so offering this would just be throwing a game away vs. hooking someone new just browsing through a store.

Hmmm... That makes some sense, but if it is a manufacturer's coupon, aren't the retailers reimbursed for that anyway?

Yes, the coupons say on it that NOA will reimburse the retailers.

And Gamecrazy is doing the coupon and they took preorders as well I'm sure.
