DS Lite Deals?
I thought I'd start a thread for reporting DS Lite deals.
I know pre-ordering at GameStop or EBGames would guarantee me one, but maybe Best Buy or Target will have some kind of gift card or freebie if you get them there. Costco might also be a good place to get a deal with some packed-in games, case, etc.

I do expect at least one chain will a unique deal to capitalize on nintendo hardware launch. Hopefully we will get advanced word soon. I would like to cancel my EB preorder and save on all that shipping if I can.

Amazon has a ton of bundles, but none that really stick out as a must-grab.

Target stores around here (Atlanta) know about the leak, and are apparently NOT selling them. Calling may not be the best idea at this point. I might hit a WM on the way home. The one next to my workplace had none in sight.

Greetings!
For any New Yorkers that might be interested-Long Islanders in particular,
It is confirmed that Target streeted it early.
as of around 4:30 p the one in Broadway mall in Hicksville had around 30 or so on the shelves (no regular DS in sight!) 141.20 w/tax.
Mine is charging now!
I'll post this in the other DS thread as well.

So the Target ad for next week has it for $129. I guess if you found it early you can get a price correction.
When I went to my local Target to see if they had it out, they had already figured out their mistake and put them all in the back so no more would be sold.
But to bring it back on topic, the manager there told me he thinks they will have a deal for it in a few weeks. He said that Target usually doesn't sell it with any freebies or bundles on release week, but to check the ads a few weeks later.
We'll see what Best Buy, Circuit City, TRU and Costco do.

Circuit City have $15 off $100 instore coupon (Coupon found at every cashier register or by customer service desk). If you get lucky you'll get DS for $115 plus taxes.
Coupon valid 06/09 - 06/26

Since EB increased the trade value of the old DS to $70 this week with their coupon and also had a decent trade in deal on games I gave in to temptation and traded my old DS and 4 junky Cube and PS2 games to get my Lite. Ended up with $105 in credit towards it. Of course after I complete the trades and get my store credit they let me know that I may not get a Lite on Sunday unless they receive more than the current 12 they were shipped. Gotta freaking love EB. Either way it was a good deal on an upgrade so I can deal with it. I'm busy with Dragon Quest VIII right now anyway.

Thats, what I'm gonna do at the mom & pop place in town. Last I checked a few weeks back it was $62 or 65 and I plan on trading in 4 games hope to have around $110 in credit, actually need to call and check on that right now.
