That would be insane! (in a good way)
Is that killing 10,000 zombies? How the hell do you pull that off?

I bought this game last night and was totally disappointed with it. I don't like the controls and the game just gets boring after a while../

Actually, it is killing 53,594 zombies. If you watched the intro cutscene, it is revealed that the population of the city is 53,594.

It is very easy (but also extremely monotonous) to get this achievement. Go into the maintenance tunnels which are crawling with thousands upon thousands of zombies. Use the cars and drive back and forth through the maintenance tunnels for a few hours real-time. You should be able to rack up 53,594 kills easily.

After you get the photo challenge from Kent (take a picture with better horror or erotica than he has), where the hell IS he? I've got a picture that tops his, and I activated the tracking thing to find him. It leads me to the coffee shop on the second floor of Paradise Plaza, but he's not there. WTF?

Yeah he won't be back until the second day at noon. Unlike the other scoops, he will not show up early. He spawns at exactly noon.

I actually like Adam's chainsaw (and the engineering book) better than the megabuster. Cuts through psychopaths with a couple of swings and clears a path through zombies immediately. I read somewhere that the megabuster was one shot kills for the psychopaths but that only worked with Carlito in the Food Court. Almost all the other ones required 3-4 shots.

Man, when the hell will this game go on sale? If I can buy Gears or R6 Vegas for $40 and they're just out, why can't I find a deal on this one? Maybe I'll check out ebay.

I second the chainsaw. I think its the best weapon in the game. You can tripple book it with the egineering, entertainment, and criminology books. One weapon will last the whole game.

The only down side is its easy to kill survivors accidently.

almost. I tried, made it into the wee hours on day 3. Depends on how much you use it though.

WTF?

I've started Overtime mode, and Adam's chainsaw isn't respawning at all.

Worse yet, I got to Overtime mode last night and stopped, so for some reason, it didn't save any of my items.

These special forces guys are ridiculous without the chainsaws.

I just got Saint and Transmisionary. I think I'm just about ready to move on to a different game.

Yeah, me too. I only have a handful of achievements - I'd planned on beating the game, then going through and getting them all...but I've already grown tired of it. I may see if there's some simple achievements I can nab before moving on, but I think I'll be shipping it back to Gameznflix this week.

I love killing these zombies, but the save system and the respawning convicts are really trying my patience.
Here's to hoping for a cleaner sequel.

I believe the convicts only respawn once. At least that's how it worked for me. I agree they can be pretty annoying if you haven't leveled up.

they are real easy to kill. Just have them crash into a tree and take them out

I was upset at the save system at first as well but then I started playing the game the way they intended it...you are supposed to play through several times. If you miss something just keep going and get it the next run through. No big deal to me once I changed the way I thought about it.

As for the convicts blow up the jeep after you kill them and they won't respawn any more.

Tough, but not impossible. I beat Overtime mode without the chainsaws.I didn't have the chainsaws but a couple of times, and they weren't Adams.

I had most of my inventory with the machine gun you get off the special forces guys. Just unload one into one guy, when he's dead, swap guns. If you run into a couple, you have to move around a lot.

And make sure you keep a save game if you are going for the true ending. I had to load a save a few times when I got caught. Then I'd load up my save game and take a different route or be a bit more careful.

I definitely need to pick this up ... I think a lot of people got 360s here for Christmas, because there's no copies of this game to be found anywhere. Anyone that can point me in the right direction for this at a decent price?

Just got my used copy today from www.half.com I also picked up a 360 just after x-mas. Bought 5 games (Dead Rising, COD 2, Viva Pinata, Blazing Angels & The Godfather). All were used and in mint condition payed under $30 for each except for Dead which I paid $37. Used is definitely the way to go. Check Amazon, Half or Ebay.
