My BB order is on it's way. Console shipped today, two games shipped 3 days ago, and the controler and battery backup are on back order (funny as both were on sale at my local BB, oh well).

Sad thing is my local BB tried to tell my wife that Call Of Duty and Tony Hawk 360 games release dates had been pushed back, thus they didn't have them in stock. Luckily my wife busted the guy on the fact it's at Wal-Mart and Target, so why did he need to lie. The kid just walked off. Guess BB didn't want to sell the game yesterday and allow the use of the 10% off coupon. Because I won't believe anyone saying that the store didn't have it in stock yet (yeah right CoD 2 shortage).

So, do we forsee any ACCESSORIES hard to find? I know I saw controllers and the Play & Charge Kit this weekend, but I passed on picking those up.

Does anyone know why first party games are $50 while others are $60?

Does Microsoft require those prices or are they simply 'allowing' third parties to charge $60?

Is there any chance of buying 360 games at Best Buy today (Monday)? I was going to use my 10% off coupon but I suspect that coupon is the reason they aren't selling any games yet.

I would check online....the website usually show inventory if they are in-stock.

I picked up Madden and Tiger Woods at Target on Friday. Checked out all the accessories they had.

Went back on Sunday, and nearly EVERYTHING was gone. Two wired controllers and a bunch of wireless adapters were all that remained.

They were selling faceplates for a dollar less than everyone else... but even though I still want that woody one, I can't bring myself to pay 19 bucks for a freaking faceplate.

I hope MS doesn't have a lapse in putting out accessories then. I'll just check and see if my GameRush gets a play & charge kit in....the one I go to seems to be hidden almost. They only had 7 360 pre-orders

I went to my local Best Buy yesterday and picked up PD0:LE and PGR3 and used the 10% off coupon. I also ended up getting the last extra wireless controller that they had on the shelves.

Best Buy Gamer gift cards folks. Even the $5 off $29.99 is a safe bet with extra controllers, memory cards and games all over $30. You would have to buy everything seperate, but it'd be worth it. You end up saving more than the 10% anyway.

BB is giving out coupons tomorrow with $10 off $29.99 coupons and a few others. I think it's in a DVD case...something about the XBOX360 Launch Guide.

I may check after I get my 360 from GAmeRush.

BestBuy sells the PELICAN S-video cable for $14.99, which is 1/2 of what MS charges for their brand. I picked it up yesterday and used BBB.

My Gamestop had a PD0 LE so I switched my preorder over and picked it up. They said the Play & Charge Kits will be in later today so I told them I would pick it up at midnight.

I don't want to go to work. I know people are going to bug me and tease me about the 360 which will make my day even longer.

Is there a digital optical outlet on the back of this thing?

There is on the component video cables (same as the current Xbox).

Can you explain that further, I don't have hd or surround setup for my xbox. There's a digital audio output on the actual cable?

There is a little plug in which an optical cable can be plugged in if you want digital sound. I believe it was similiar to this with the HD pack for the XBOX.
