I was able to get through a little over an hour after you could add it to your cart. I clicked on Confirm and it went to a blank page but soon after that I got a confirmation email and my credit card was charged.

I'm not buying one thru Circuit City, but their webpage now states "Sorry, we are now sold out of XBox 360, Check back later for new stock, Thanks for shopping at Circuit City"

I hope I'm posting this in the right Xbox 360 thread...
The other night I was able to order a system from costco.com and I received a shipping confirmation email tonight. This really surprises me as I assumed that it wouldn't ship for a while (possibly weeks, simply because this was too easy).
No estimated delivery date for me yet, but someone on the TiVo forum has an estimated delivery date of *11/29*. Crap. That still might be better than the automated Gamestop call I received tonight, which said it could be early 2006.

I can't imagine the people running those stores are having a very easy time of it, but honestly people what's the point of a preorder? umm maybe ensuring that you'll get a console on launch day.........yeah that's what it was the last I checked. I don't give a shit if they only let five people preorder at least then it would be worth it for the people who did it, they would know they were getting a system. Honestly for them to leave this many people waiting for something they already paid for is 1) Bad business 2) Just plain wrong./rant
