I don't think you can use it for saves and other XBOX related stuff. You can put mp3's on it, but that's about it. Also, it has to be FAT32.

ON BETTER NEWS:
The OUTFIT demo should be hitting the marketplace any day now. I guess THQ is done with it, waiting on MS....it will be a LIVE multiplayer demo also...bonus.

I have searched around but can never find a 100% correct answer. I joined xbox live 2 months ago when I got the 360. I have the original Xbox but never joined live on that one. Can I use my gamertag which I created on the 360 on the original xbox without causing any problems such as losing achievments and such? I believe if I sign on the original xbox I would need to recover gamertag?

Joined xbox live 360 - using gamertag on original xbox while still having it active in t he 360 - Problems??

I'm pretty sure you can't sign on to both at once... so if you're signed on with the 360, you can't turn on your Xbox and sign at the same time. Other than that, if I understand your question corectly:

http://www.xbox.com/en-US/support/ho...rgamercard.htm

Q: What happens if I want to use my original Xbox console after I've started using my new Xbox 360 console? Can I still fire up an old favorite and jump online?

A: You sure can. No matter which system you were using when you started your Xbox Live membership, you can sign in to Xbox Live from either console as long as you maintain the same gamertag and keep your membership paid up.

I asked the same question, even on TeamXbox's FAQ section and never got an answer.
It seems to be a question that MS doesn't want to answer.

I let my original Xbox Live service end in anticipation of the Xbox 360. So I thought that when I got Gold service on the 360, it would transfer down to the Xbox 1.
I don't think MS wants to do it that way, they would rather you set up an account on the Xbox 1, then transfer it to the 360.

If anyone knows any different, please let us know.

I'd test it, but my Xbox 1....doesn't support Live.

New Marketplace content is up

The Outfit Multiplayer Demo: 440MB

You can now download the demo of “The Outfit‘ from the Xbox Live Marketplace. This demo is available in all Xbox Live regions.

This is a multi-player demo, but it can only be played online with an Xbox Live Gold account. Silver members can download the demo but their gameplay experience will be limited to offline 1-1 split screen. Gold members get the full 8 player destruction experience.

Here are some official details on the level in the demo:

Name: Estate Assault
Game Type: Strategic Victory
Overview:
•After a coordinated offensive - Allied Command has commandeered a French villa just across the river from the Axis HQ.
•Choose your side (Allies or Axis) and squad leader to play (3 from either side; 6 total) and lead your squad into battle to destroy the enemy’s HQ, while defending your own.
•Capture strategic points located throughout the map to earn Field Units (F.U.s) – that can be used on the fly to call in Destruction on Demand™ - air-dropped into the action at any time. Everything can be called in from tanks, jeeps and half-tracks to squad reinforcements, machine gun nests, anti-tank guns and even air-strikes on enemy positions.

I've done exactly this without losing any achievements or anything on my 360. I let my Xbox Live account on my original Xbox expire back in November anticipating the 360, just like Doug Schiller. A few days after Christmas I went and bought the boxed Gold Membership and set it up on my 360. In January, I bought MVP NCCA Baseball for my original Xbox and decided I wanted to get my Live account working on my original Xbox. I searched and searched and couldn't find any way to copy my Live account over to my original Xbox. I even called Live tech support and explained what I wanted to do. They guy told me I couldn't do it without opening a second Live account on my original Xbox. He said if I would've created the account on my original Xbox first, then I could've transferred it over to the 360, but otherwise no dice. I noticed on the original Xbox that in order to recover a Live account you had to have a credit card. Since I bought a boxed copy of Live, I never input my credit card into my 360. I found a place to input a credit card number in my settings on the 360 dashboard, though. So, after I got off the phone with the Xbox Live tech support guru, I input my cc info on the 360 dashboard and then successfully recovered my gamertag on my original Xbox! Thanks a lot for your help Xbox Live tech support weiner!

So, to make a long story short, even though MS doens't want to advertise it, yes you can first create your Xbox Live account on your 360 and then recover your gamertag on your original Xbox, as long as you have a cc number entered into your settings on your 360 dashboard.

Such a simple question but not even MS had a sure fire answer. Question though where do I put in the cred card info on my 360 so the xbox 1 will recognize it? I bought a 1 year gold acct from circuit city so I never had a chance to put in a CC # in the 360 for anything?

The Outfit demo is online in marketplace. The demo allows 8 player play over Live.

440 MB.

I played a couple games of The Outfit and hated it. Poor controls and poor handling on vehicles make for a lackluster game.

It's a poor mans Battlefield clone.

Tenancious D, Thanks, I will try that tonight. It would be nice to get some updates on some older Xbox1 games.

Shame about the Outfit. I sometimes wonder if putting demos out hurt sales. There hasn't been a single demo, including Fight Night R3, that made me want to buy the game.
Maybe Call of Duty 2 but I bought the game long before they put the demo up.

Chris: The download meter is less than optimal. When it downloads, it will let you know.

I think I'll be passing on The Outfit. I really wish they wouldn't of done an online only demo. Maybe I need to try it again later on when I'm not whacked out on cold medicine. I just didn't care for the vehicles and the controls that much.

It's not the cold medicine. I had the same problems with it.

Bummer I was hoping The Outfit would be a nicer version of Mercenaries.

Awful sluggish controls. It is a shame, because I think if they fixed that, and sped up player movement a bit, it would be a fun game.

Not to mention the graphics are nothing special, easily could pass as a good looking Xbox title, but definitely not next gen quality.

It is retarded that the demo is multiplayer only. I don't have a gold because I only play a couple of hours a wekk. But to make the demo run this way is stoopid, although I guess it doesn't matter, since I probably was not going to buy it, but now I guess I am not for sure.

BTW, it took nearly an hour to download this afternoon.
