Those graphics are the best Ive ever seen a video game look. I think I might buy it even though Im not a huge boxing game fan.

I'm new to this, so don't kill me for this basic question:

Can you voice chat with someone online, while playing two different games?

DIE!!!!!

Just kidding.

Yes, you can chat with someone else while doing anything on the 360 (listening to music, watching a movie, playing a game, etc.).

Is anyone else having random disconnects from Live?
I'm not sure if it's the service or my wireless bridge (though I'm thinking it's the bridge). It seems like when it's downloading something it's fine but if I'm just online while playing a single player game or something, it'll disconnect randomly.
I've tried changing the channel on my router but it seems like the airport express that i also have on the network isn't losing it's wireless connection so I don't think it's interference.

Thanks.

How exactly do you do it? Can you only pick from friends that you have added, or is there some sort of lobby or something (other than when you can do that in a game)?

While that would be cool and all, I don't think that it's legal. Although I am by no means a lawyer.

Even in states that would allow it, you'd have the concern of children playing it.

I can see it now...

NEWSFLASH-

Jack Thompson, Florida attorney and anti gaming advocate, was found in his apartment Sunday night. He had apparently shit in his pants when he found out children are gambling on Xbox Live.

Well this may have been answered already, but can you do anything else on the 360 while a download is in process? Seems like anything else I do backs me out of the download and then I have to resume it...

Yeah you can only chat with people on your friends list. You just select them on the list, and it is one of the options.

Nope, you are forced to wait. I really hope they change this soon, it seems a bit rediculous.

FInally played FN3 demo today. I thought it played pretty good. It was not THAT slow. I hate how the one boxer kept running away though. I kept having to chase him. Still fun, seems like FN2 with better graphics though.

Ok... So... If someone is thinking of buying later, instead of sooner.

Most I'll lose is the "free remote with premium", right? I mean, all the downloadable stuff that is free now isn't just for early adopters and will be pulled in the next few months, right?

Love the demo feature of the xbox 360. How long is the FN Demo in terms of playtime? 3 minutes, 3 rounds, etc.

I agree. It keeps me from downloading more. It is quite the waste of time.

Thanks for the info guys.

I agree, they need to change that. I don't have that much time to mess with the 360 anyway and would like to be able to DL while playing some games. I know I could just start a DL and let it sit overnight but I've been a little nervous of leaving it unattended for a long time even though I've had no heat issues (guess I could enable the option to shutoff the 360 after 6 hours of inactivity or whatever it is),

Yeah, I wish you could do more while it's D/L. I usually just switch back to TV and wait...no big deal. As for FN03. It's 4 rounds. It's a fun demo. I think it will be pretty good. I'll probably get it, but we'll see. I had FN02 and I enjoyed it, but it got repetitive.

I wouldn't assume that all currently available (free) downloadable content will continue to be available.

Y2K and I were talking about this yesterday.

I liked all of the family controls for Live, but I'd like to see a daily time limit put into the system. This would be great for families that want to limit their child's time on the system. You set the time limit, 1hr, 2hr, etc and once it's up, you have to wait until the next day. I bet that's a feature they could easily add.

I agree. Once newer games start getting released they want to push those. Why waste bandwidth on an older title like COD2 when most 360 owners already own it? It will also be a factor when game prices drop, it may be a while, but why waste the resources hosting a cheaper game when they can sell you on the new $60 game.

I'm having this problem as well. Everything is fine while on the dashboard but, during single player games it does seem to disconnect frequently.

What kind of router are you using? My D-Link would disconnect at random. I got a Linksys WRT54G and it works great.

I was playing a multiplayer game of PD Zero last night and got booted, so it's not just single player. The same thing used to happen to me on Forza on the original XBox but I didn't put two and two together until now. I'm using a D-Link DI-524 router and I'm using a D-Link DWL-810+ wireless ethernet bridge. I used a wired connection at my old Apartment and never had an issue so maybe the D-Link's wireless just sucks.
I changed the channel from 8 to 11 and that didn't work so now I changed it to 1. We'll see if that helps at all. As I said, as far as I can tell, my Airport express, which is also connected as a wireless client for airtunes, stays ok so I can't be sure if it's a config problem with the bridge or what. My airport express has a static IP address and the Bridge does too (but the IP address in the config menu for the actual 360 is being set by my router's DHCP server. Maybe I should give the xbox a static IP?)
i guess worse comes to worse I could get a wicked long ethernet cord but that would be a pain in the ass.

I don't think there is unless you find the disc image of the kiosk disc, which I really don't feel like bothering to do

i switched the IP address on the xbox to a static one and either that or changing the channel seems to have fixed it. I've been online now for about 30 minutes and no drops.
Edit-Damn spoke to soon, I downloaded the Madden demo, and then launched it and I was disconnected and then it immediately reconnected.
